Abstract: Numerical control (NC) programming is the critical part for the NC manufacturing system. The NC manufacturing programming is the concentrated reflection of design of component-processing, which reflect directly the productive efficiency of NC manufacturing and the quality of products. This paper suggests that the Multi-agent as the theoretical basis and development platform to research the NC programming based on agent, in order to reach the autonomy of programming unit, the NC programming unit based agent as its the processing object, and self-organization of system. The NC programming based on Multi-agent can achieve the autonomy and functional maturation of each programming sub-unit, and can also achieve the coordination and cooperation among all the dependent units, therefore, the system processes the self-organization ability. One standard process template is created relay on this technology, in order to templatize and intelligentize the process flow and process data of NC manufacturing.

Abstract: For rotational parts with irregular curve profile, in order to achieve its manual programming and machining, we need to segment the contour curve according to the change of curvature. Through the calculation, we can get the minimum arc to fit the segments, and calculate the circular endpoint coordinates and radius by using the drawing methods. Finally, we develop the NC program. By the analysis of the result, we find the method can simplify the programming and improve machining efficiency.

Abstract: There are some problems existing in open loop system with stepping motor as driving motor, such as lower servo precision, without compensation for step losing of stepping motor and so on. This paper presented a new approach called quasi-close loop control. With the help of the method, the control accuracy will be similar to that of close loop system and can be obtained, and the system will have the same stability as that of open loop system. With MCS-51 single-chip microcomputer as control unit and grating scales for measuring displacement, a quasi-close loop control system was built on NC lathe. The practice shows that the quasi-close loop control system has advantages such as high control accuracy, good stability and high cost performance. It is suited to economical NC machine tools and has wide application prospects.

Abstract: Nowadays though there are large varieties of NC maintenance training equipments in China, the high price as well as the lack of multi-function has made the existed equipments fail to meet teachers and students’ real demands during the NC maintenance training process, it is of great significance to design a special equipment which can combine the theory and practice during the teaching process. Based on the real demands during the teaching practice and taking the PLC assembling software as a core, the NC maintenance training equipment which can fulfill lots of functions including the machine installation and adjustment was designed in this article to enhance the teaching effectiveness of teachers as well as the practice abilities of students.

Abstract: With the requirements of machining develop towards high precision, high efficiency, intelligentization, combination and greenization, in this paper we develop a NC spherical turning and grinding machine tool with high precision and combination to meet the brisk demand of market for spherical workpieces with large diameter and high precision. According to the enterprises’ practice results ,our machine tool can finish machining of large diameter and high precision sphere quickly, with high quality and low cost, and it has a high practical value.

Abstract: The paper introduced the method and technology of how to implement a Integrated Manufacturing, each CNC machining equipment is equipped with a special communication unit, each communication unit are directly connected with the DNC main control computers on the Internet, effect of special communication unit is mainly data buffer and protocol conversion, the TCP/IP protocol is used between communication unit and DNC main control Internet computer, and used serial communication protocol communication between communication unit and NC equipment. Using this technology, all kinds of CNC machining equipment and DNC system can be easily with the CAD/CAM/CAE system, digital profile measurement system, fault diagnosis and error compensation of intelligent system integration, providing good technical conditions for further information of various advanced manufacturing environment integration.

Abstract: The Cutting tool rotation and movement Matrix equation is established in the paper according to the high efficiency of NC machining elliptic cone. Tool path of the elliptic cone is established by the tangent method and Bernstein curve equations. Line contact contour surface method of machining surface is put forward on the basis of tool path. With this method surface interpolation can be carried out according to the equation of curved surface, which can be efficiently processing elliptic cone. Simulation experiments were carried out in this paper, and the results showed that Elliptic cone can be NC machining with high efficiency by the line contact contour surface method.

Abstract: PLC module is an important part of embedded NC system, and mainly accomplishes the auxiliary functions of CNC machine tools. This paper completes the work of research and development of the PLC programming software for PC side of the host computer, and the software is developed in VC++6.0 environment based on windows XP system, to realize the editing functions and the mutual conversion between the ladder and instruction language. Focus on the realization of the mutual conversion between ladder with instruction table, use the logical structure of tree when the ladder converts to the instruction table, and use the data structure of stack to complete the conversion. Instruction table is transformed to Ladder by the operation of the stack to complete the conversion.

Abstract: Recently, developers of machining tools have begun paying more and more attention to multi-joint dual-arm robot, and it is expected the robot will reclaim its place in the field of new automation. Industrial dual-arm robots have therefore gained attention as new tools to control both linear motion and rotational motion accurately. On the other hand, the five-axis control machining center controlling the motion of three translation axes and two rotation axes has put into wide practical use. However, a one problem has been that it may be the difficult to measure the synchronic accuracy of rotation two axes without high accuracy gyro sensor. In the present report, we proposed a novel method to measure the synchronic accuracy of rotation two axes of machine tool table with a ball, which keeps a ball rolling around a circular path on the working plate by dual-arm cooperating control. As a result, we investigated an influence of each axis motion error on a ball- rolling path, and demonstrated this method made it feasible to estimate the synchronic accuracy of rotation two axes of machine tool table.
