Abstract: Using precipitated silica as the carrier, a kind of composite photocatalyst was prepared through hydrolysisde positing method. The obtained composite material was characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, FT-IR. Based on the experimental results and analysis of characterization, the preparation mechanism of composite powder material was studied. The photocatalytic degration experiment of Rhodamine-B indicates that the precipitated silica is an ideal carrier of the TiO2,and the photocatalyst can combine with the silica tightly. The photocatalytic activity of the obtained composite material is stabilize and constant.

Abstract: In the paper, WPU nanometer titanium dioxide composite is made mainly of polypropylene glycol (PPG), 2, 4-toluene diisocynate (TDI), nanometer titanium dioxide (TiO2), oleic acid (OA), dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA), dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL), triethylamine (TEA), polypropylene glycol phosphate (PPG-P). Feature of nano particle is analyzed and tested by scanning electron microscope; Fourier infrared spectrum of nanoparticle and composite is tested by fourier infrared spectrometer under room temperature; thermal property test is conducted to composite by thermogravimetric analyzer; XRD test is conducted to nanoparticle and compound thin-film material by X-ray diffractometer; mechanical property of composite is tested by universal stretcher, proving that titanium dioxide does not change structure of WPU and titanium dioxide keeps the original crystal structure instead of being destroyed. Thermogravimetric analysis shows that titanium dioxide raises thermal stability of composite better; mechanical properties prove that increase of 2wt% nanometer titanium dioxide can raise mechanical properties of WPU. Titanium dioxide has extensive application prospect in production and life because it has optical activity and can raise antibiotic property of WPU.

Abstract: In this paper, nanometer titanium dioxide was synthesized by a simple reaction. The prepared adsorbent was characterized by surface area and porosimetry analyzer and it was used for the removal of heave metals in industrial wastewater. The main parameters affecting the adsorption of heavy metals including pH, adsorption condition and elution condition have been investigated in detail. Under the optimized operating conditions, most of the target heavy metals could be fast removed. The adsorbent could be simply regenerated by hydrochloric acid. Thus, the prepared nanometer titanium dioxide was an adsorbent which is suitable for the removal of heavy metals in industrial wastewater.

Abstract: Nanometer titanium dioxide powders were prepared by hydrolysis of titanium-tetrabutoxide with ethanol. The powder particle size of TiO2 in the structure of anatase-type is mainly between 5 and 10 nm. Using the process that titanium alloys were embedded by the nanometer TiO2 powders and sintered in the high temperature furnace, the nano-TiO2/titanium alloy biomaterials was fabricated out. The particle size of TiO2 particles on the surface of Ti alloy was mainly 50-70 nm. The method is a simple and adaptable technique for surface modification of the titanium alloys.

Abstract: Since the “plastic limit order” was released, shopping bags made of polypropylene spun-bonded nonwovens have been wildly used in daily life for their portability and recyclability. However, polypropylene materials are difficult to be degraded in natural conditions, thus they are not the “real” environmental protection bags. Many studies demonstrate that TiO2 has obvious effects on raising nonwovens’ photo-catalytic degradation rate. In this study, the microcapsules were prepared with complex coacervation method using chitosan and acacia as wall and TiO2 as core material. In addition, the main process parameters including the concentration of chitosan, PH of the coacervation solution and stirring speed, which have effects on the microcapsule formation behavior were discussed specially. The results show that the good microcapsules were produced at the condition of the chitosan concentration of 0.4%, the PH valued about 3.18, stirring speed of 300r/min, temperature of the coacervation 60°Cand the condensation reaction time for 15 minutes.

Abstract: This article is mainly introduced the detonation method to prepare TiO2 nanoparticles which use hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture as the explosion source and the titanium tetrachloride as the precursor. It studied TiO2 nanoparticles influenced by different hydrogen concertration. And analyzed the character of prepared TiO2 nanoparticles by XRD and TEM. The results show that the powders are mixed crystal of Rutile and Anatase. It is also found that the relative content of rutile grows larger and the size of grain becomes smaller (about 30~100nm) as the hydrogen content increases, and the TiO2 nanoparticles are mostly spherical. But the dispersion is becomes slightly worse, and the agglomeration appear.

Abstract: Based on vehicle emissions of decontamination by using nanometer titanium dioxide of photocatalysis method, we had optimized test about content of nano-TiO2 and surfactant and utilized permeability technology to make environmental protection materials of concrete nano-TiO2, consequently decontaminate vehicle emissions. On this foundation, we tested degradation effect of nanometer titanium dioxide in simulation road surface by a kind of testing system that it was designed by us. Results of experiment revealed that decontaminating rate of the productions ranged from22% to 48% this kind of photochemical catalysis environmental protection material has good environment purification function.
