Abstract: In daily life because of polluted air people have a headache, insomnia, allergic diseases, respiratory diseases, etc. Air Purifier is also called "air cleaner" or "air sober machine". It refers to an equipment which can adsorb, decompose or transform all kinds of air pollutions, and volatilize an anion to improve the indoor air quality. In order to achieve the purpose of the microcomputer digital control of system, air purifier is designed with a single chip to reduce the artificial control. The single chip microcomputer is regarded as the core circuit part of the whole control system, the function of which is control all components of the air purification. Air purifier equipment consists of dust sensors, anion generator unit, fan module components and 4x4 matrix keyboard. Software program mainly includes: the display program, keyboard program, the clock program. This design aims at starting subsequent circuit module automatically through real-time control of air quality, achieving the function of air purification.

Abstract: To investigate the influence of the ball grinding time on the particle sizes of the negative ion powder and the release ability of negative ions for dental applications. Ethanol as a dispersant , steel ball as grinding media, the negative ion powder was grinded (4h, 8h, 12h, 16h, 22h) through the ultrasonic dispersion and ball milling and high-speed mixing process. Its crystal pattern, particle size and surface morphology were characterized by XRD, dynamic laser scattering instrument, SEM. The number of negative ion in different grinding time was tested by 3010-pro negative ion tester. With the increasing of the milling time, particle size of negative ion powder was gradually decreasing, after 22h, the particle size was 232nm, which was consistent with the results of electron microscope, but the number of negative ions was not significantly changed. Therefore, optimum utilization of the ultrasonic dispersion and ball milling and high-speed mixing technologies is necessary to most efficiently achieve stable dispersions with the target particle size characteristics.

Abstract: This paper deals with a technique to easily suppress bad odor of water-soluble coolant (working fluid) by using a commercially available ion generator for home use. At the shop floor, water-soluble coolant is in heavy use, where putrid bad odor is apt to be generated from water since over 95% of the coolant component is water, leading to a short life of the coolant. Expecting an effect of suppressing putrid odor of water-soluble coolant, application of ion mixed air using an ion generator for house use was examined. As a result, bubbling with ion mixed air could achieve a drastic suppression of a bad odor generated from putrid water-soluble coolant, compared to a bubbling with air only. In addition, it was confirmed that by discharging ions into a machine emitting a bad odor, the odor level decreases drastically. From these results, a machine having an ion generator built-in can be proposed as an environmentally friendly machine tool.
