Paper TitlePage

Abstract: The article describes the application of the event-driven networked control system (NCS) for impact load monitoring. The main problem in this type of application is measurement synchronization, which should provide full information about the impact in terms of stochastic delays introduced by the network and stochastic characteristics of the actuator. Using the simulation model of the NCS system, the method of solving this particular problem was developed. The results of verification tests for the real object and a synchronized dynamic measurement of signals from resistance strain gauges are presented. The described system can find use in monitoring and fault detection, in tasks connected with dynamics of liquids and gases, acoustics, and the analysis of resistance properties of materials and technical objects. Key words: Networked control system (NCS), event maintenance, event synchronization, impact monitoring, measurement trigger, strain gauge.

Abstract: This paper investigates the co-design problem of both robust integrity and the usage of communication resources for a class of actuator-saturated networked control system(NCS) based on a novel discrete event-triggered communication scheme(DETCS). First, a new model of NCS is established that parameter uncertainty, network-induced delay, actuator saturation and faults, and the state error arising from the DETCS are taken into consideration in a unified framework. Second, based on the model, the set of invariance condition of the closed-loop fault NCS with actuator saturation is proposed, which is the delay-dependent and event-dependent sufficient condition for ensuring the system stability. Then, a co-design approach which includes both robust fault-tolerant controller and the corresponding trigger weight matrix is given via linear matrix inequalities. The reciprocally convex combination lemma and the improved Jensen integral inequality are employed to deal with the derivative terms of the Lyapunov-Krasovakii functional, which can reduce the conservatism and computation of the results. Finally, a simulation example is used to demonstrate the advantage and the effectiveness of the proposed co-design approach, meanwhile, the quantitative relationship between the system performance and the communication resources is provided.

Abstract: Due to irregular information flow for NCS (Networked Control System), network delay has performance of random and variability. It reduces system stability, network performance and control performance. This paper focuses on research of predictive algorithm of network delay. Network delay data is obtained in PROFIBUS-DP. Based on network delay data, the ARMA (Auto-Regressive and Moving Average) model of delay is set up. The parameter estimation algorithm of Robust Kalman is used to estimate parameters of proposed ARMA model of network delay. A simulation example is given and verifies efficiency of predictive algorithm proposed.

Abstract: The paper studies the effect of networks with transmission delay in the feedback loop of a nonlinear networked control system (NCS). The nonlinear system is modeled by a T-S fuzzy model, and transmission delays are modeled by a finite state Markov process. The fuzzy controller’s membership functions can be different from the plant’s. The membership functions of the plant and the fuzzy controller are incorporated into the controller design. System performance is measured via an norm from disturbance to error and the controller is computed by sum of square approach. Finally we applied these results to an inverted pendulum system. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the control strategy studied in this paper is effective and feasible.

Abstract: A New method for real-time prediction of uncertain network transmission time delay and the closed-loop control method through the network manufacturing and industrial plant are introduced. Put forward delay prediction method is based on the multilayer perceptron neural model. To reduce the amount of the first layer of neurons network, thus reducing the computational burden a real-time implementation, a method for the determination of Markov delay sequence order. Used to predict delay and a zero order equivalent discrete time model of the plant, a kind of time-varying state feedback control algorithm is put forward a strategy to obtain real-time update. The stability of the closed-loop switch sufficient conditions is derived using the theorem of linear system. It shows that the method studies of industrial network by two cases, i.e., a DC motor driven transport roll paper and a milling machine. Simulation study describes the effectiveness of the method to control these challenging problems.

Abstract: In recent years, due to the rapid development of computer technology and the expanding of its controlling scale, people pay more and more attention to the study of network control system. Network control system is closed loop control system connecting the communication network connect sensor, controller, actuator etc. At the same time, the introduction of the communication network control system brings a lot of problems, such as data transmission delay, network packet loss and so on, which make the analysis of the network control system become very complicated. This paper analyzes background of the topic, significance and research status, and review the network control system.

Abstract: This paper proposes delay-dependent stability conditions of discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs) with unknown, time-varying and bounded delays using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the improved free-weighting matrix approach. Moreover, the conditions are extended to the NCSs with time-varying structured uncertainties.
