Abstract: The configuration and the work principle of the flow press hydraulic servo-valve was introduced in this paper, based on this and electromagnetic basic theory, the mechanics analysis of every main parts of the flow press hydraulic servo-valve and the liquid basic theory especially the flow continuity equation, the mathematic model of the flow press sever-valve was built, during the process of building the model, the author took into account the load moment brought by the pair of spray nozzles flow force and the load moment brought by the force couples back pole and the fundamental equation of the force moment motor. On the other hand, the author analyzed the influence of the nonlinear factor to system performance, and the nonlinear factor was valve port overlap length disaccord caused by machining error. The mathematic model of the electro-hydraulic force control system controlled by the flow press servo-valve with valve port error was built. The results of simulation and experiment showed that valve port error badly influenced the system performance, and that valve port error was the main reason of the pressure higher than the supply pressure, which is one of the two cylinder cavities. The simulation curve and the experiment curve were accord compared by system simulation and experiment results, so we can know that the mathematic model of the flow press sever-valve and of the electro-hydraulic force control system controlled by the flow press servo-valve is correct.

Abstract: For small-scale RC structure model in earthquake simulation test, the material behavior of the model is hard to resemble the prototype well so that the model cannot simulate correctly the nonlinear performance of the prototype. On the basis of the dynamic similitude of mechanical behavior between common concrete and micro-concrete which derive from mechanical behavior tests, the simplified equivalent dynamic similitude relations, which are applicable to the nonlinear performance simulation with small-scale RC structure models in the earthquake simulation tests, have been proposed. By the numerical simulation of earthquake simulation tests and the deviation analysis, the dynamic simulation experimental method has been verified. In addition, for small-scaled RC model, to consider the similitude harmony between concrete and reinforcement used in the model, by adjusting the reinforcement and stirrup, or the effective section height (h0) and hoop spacing etc., simple element testing, shaking table test and numerical simulation were carried out to verify this model design method. Thus, it’s realizable that the small-scaled RC model can simulate correctly the nonlinear performance of the prototype.

Abstract: In order to obtain correct nonlinear performance of tall building at seismic zone, several typical planar and elevation irregular tall buildings with different structural system are mainly discussed in the paper. Effect on the seismic response of structures due to the hazard bearing structure simplification are analyzed so as to obtain nonlinear performance accurately of structures for the seismic risk analysis, important influencing factors are also discussed followed. The results show that it is efficient to forecast the performance of tall buildings for the seismic risk analysis at seismic zone after Wen-Chuan Earthquake in China cities.
