Abstract: The Numerical Control (NC) systems are only linear and circular interpolation function, and the non-circular curve must be fitted with them before processed. There are many algorithms of fitting curve with arc, but most of them have some shortcomings, such as the numbers of fitting data points and arcs segments are too many, the error controlling are difficult in arc fitting , the programming are difficult to meet the real-time NC processing requirement and so on. This paper proposed a new algorithm, which could quickly and automatically determine the best node for fitting curve with arc according to the change of curvature and the machining error. It could ensure the machining precision and efficiency. The algorithm could be directly completed programming and processing by the NCs macro program function without any other auxiliary software. The detailed algorithm process and the application programming were given.

Abstract: Equipment manufacturing industry is an important factor to measure a country's comprehensive national strength. The servo control technology is one of the core technologies of numerical control systems and motion control, as well as an important part of the equipment manufacturing. This paper, on the basis of motion control, studies the development status of servo control home and abroad and analyzes in-depth the various components of the AC servo control system and the parameter confirmation of the controller. It discusses the approximate processing on control system and simplification of passing functions and uses the best second-order tuning to set the project for the current loop Pl adjustment device, simplifying the current loop into an inertia link.

Abstract: In traditional NC systems, the linear, index and S curve acceleration and deceleration control methods exist lots of problems that jerk is discontinuous or algorithm is too complex, seeking a more superior acceleration and deceleration control method to make up these shortages is needed. In this paper, the Four polynomial acceleration and deceleration control method is researched further, some contrast experiments have been done on NC terrace which is based on 32 bit floating point multi-axis DSP motion controller, and the superiority of this method and the practicability in NC field are analysed by processing two hemispheres with H600 CNC engraving and milling machine.

Abstract: According to the nutation movement of a rotating coin on a table, a novel nutation drive with rolling teeth is presented on the basis of oscillating teeth gear transmission. Firstly, the structure of mechanism is provided and transmission theory is declared. The formulae for calculating the transmission ratio of the mechanism is developed. Secondly, the modeling of this nutation drive is built. Finally, the results of theoretical calculations are verified by dynamic motion simulation of the prototype mechanism. In addition, Numerical control(NC) simulation of machining the stator and the rotor gears is developed.

Abstract: This paper describes the machining method of complex surface face gear used CNC machine tools and hob cutter, Based on surface characteristics and gear hob principle. A coordinate transformation process is explained in detail in the five axes CNC machining of complex parts. A CNC hob method is proposed about surface orthogonal gear. An experiment is done for validating the method.

Abstract: The design thought of "dual-CPU architecture" is used on the basis of a deep study of embedded systems and multi-functional CNC machine tools. That is to say, microprocessor S3C2440A of Samsung ARM9 series is used as control core, whose PWM timer produces pulse to realize the automatic control of the process. As the main control center, it plays the main functions of NC program input, keyboard entry, LCD display, the interpretation of the program, crude interpolation and so on. Using CPU as auxiliary equipment, it receives signals from master control center to realize fine interpolation through further calculation. Simultaneously the periphery of the system expands modules of human-computer interaction, communication, servo, and input/output to realize human-machine interaction, data communication and motor control. Finally, the hardware modules are debugged and the results are analyzed, which shows that the system is of fast response, reliability, low cost and good cutting and portability. This system has achieved the desired anticipation and has broad prospect in the economical CNC field which requires fast moving and proper processing speed.

Abstract: A numerical control (NC) reformation scheme is presented to reduce the failure rate and improve the performance and efficiency of the old gear shaving machine. On the basis of study the mechanical structure and shaving methods, the numerical control system 828D and the servo driver S120 developed by Siemens Company are used to replace the old control system. The diagonal shaving method is selected to design shaving program after analysis of the process route. The reformation completed parametric programming, realized numerical control of the shaving machine and improved the reliability and flexibility of the system.
