Abstract: About frequently happened fire accidents in Power stations, an actual compartment fire accident in one room on 3nd floor was studied numerically with software FDS 5.3.0/SMV 5.3.10 in this article. According to the results of simulation, we investigated the different radiant heat flux parameters, burning losses under different heat release rates and rising rates. The developing process of fuel combustion was analyzed. Also, we compared the simulation results with the actual smoke trace and burning rates in fire accidents. It shows the numerical modeling software FDS is a reliable tool to analyze the power plant fire accident caused by casually placed inflammable objects in single room. It provides an applied valuable good way for the fire accident research in power plant.

Abstract: As the increasing requirement on the scientific nature of fire investigation conclusion, fire numerical reconstruction technology is gradually used in fire investigation work, and it becomes one of the important auxiliary tools. In this paper combustible of the burning coach was analyzed, and two different conditions were set, the development process of heat and smoke, poison and other related information is shown. This indicates that the FDS-method can be combined with other fire investigation ways to support the investigation results.

Abstract: In this paper, in-line digital holography is combined with time average method and applied for vibration analysis of an aluminum membrane. The numerically reconstructed wave from time average holograms contains information of mode shape and mean deformation of the vibrating objects. At lower amplitudes of vibration only the deformation fringes are observed and as the amplitude is increases, the Bessel fringes representing the time average vibration amplitude also become visible. Experimental results for a 10mm size membrane are presented.
