Abstract: Gas flame spraying is the most accessible method of gas-thermal spraying. Pores are formed on the inner surface of the bimetallic fluid-film bearings as a result of the application of anti-friction coating on the steel substrate. The presence of such pores, the "microfibre effect", affects positively on life expectancy of fluid-film bearings. The study of the oil consumption of anti-friction coatings allows recommendation of these coatings for using in the manufacturing process of bimetallic fluid-film bearings.

Abstract: The relationship between environmental quality and energy consumption has become more and more important. This paper firstly develops the index for China’s comprehensive environmental quality evaluation, and employs spss17.0 to conduct factorial analysis and comprehensive analysis on the condition of China’s comprehensive environmental quality between 1995 and 2012. By using Eviews6.0 to build a regression model for China’s environmental quality and energy consumption and exercising stationary test and Granger causality test, this paper also affirms the co-integration relationship between environmental quality and energy consumption in China. Among all energy sources, coal consumption has the closest relationship with environmental quality, and oil and natural gas consumptions are in the 2nd and 3rd place. In the last part, this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions like optimizing industrial structure, adjusting energy structure and improving technologies in energy utilization.

Abstract: Design faults, imperfect manufacturing processes, change of technological operating modes of the turbocompressors in gas, petroleum, chemical and petrochemical industry cause axial rotor shifts. Therefore, the task of manufacturing the high-efficient and reliable thrust bearings is important nowadays along with effective rotor balancing, methods of axial forces calculation considering possible operating modes, improvement of static electricity elimination system, protective and monitoring systems of the axial shift. Effective methods for increasing the bearing capacity of thrust bearings, applied by TRIZ Ltd, have been studied in the report. The accepted and realized on the operating equipment solutions have enabled to increase the bearing capacity of thrust bearings significantly and to reduce oil consumption ratio, keeping down location dimensions to the equipment.

Abstract: In order to help driver to know the fuel efficiency of his car, the application software for information management of car oil consumption was developed based on the Android phones. The oil information filling up the car and the gas station information are inputted by the driver using the software each time. Then the fuel consumption information could be counted automatically. The statistic results could be shown as table, chart or curve respectively. The calculation method of car oil consumption is proposed based on the amount of oil left. It is more accurate and effective than traditional method which is based on oil lamp.

Abstract: Attempt to reduce the CO2 emission from ships and sailing cost, the rate of propeller cut is calculated by established models of propeller diameter cut and propeller blade shape cut. According to the results, after cutting the edge of propeller under equal power, the rev is increased, but the open water efficiency and the speed both are decreased. However, the increase of the rev is quicker than the decrease of the speed. And the AVL BOOST is used to simulate MAN B&W 5S60MC main engine. The main running parameters under the 25%, 50%, 75% and 85% load are calculated. The result indicates that cutting the edge of propeller can increase the rev, improve lubricating and vibrating, reduce oil consumption and improve the economical efficiency.

Abstract: Sensor technology and computer control technology are applied to automobile fuel consumption testing in the automobile industry developed countries, the function and precision of the test are developing and perfecting continually. In our country, automobile fuel consumption test mainly applies ordinary consumption test devices, that test item are single-chip, which is applied for testing the flow of time. The display of method mainly based on the pointer instrument and partially on circuit control, so the maintenance and reliability of the test does not excellent. We do research and develop the intelligent one which is called quick testing instrument for automobile fuel consumption, which applies sensor technology, computer control technology and advanced instrument technology, that can be applied for the testing for automobile fuel consumption and data show. It can improve the measurement precision of automobile fuel consumption and degree of automation, with the down cost as high cost-effective consequences. The test instrument can be used for testing instantaneous fuel consumption, average fuel consumption and accumulative total consumption of gasoline engine and diesel engine.

Abstract: In response to the problems of automobile oil consumption direct test and indirect test, Ultrasonic technology and microcontroller control technology can be used to research automobile oil consumption testing technique. Deciding on the method of automobile oil consumption testing is based on the fluid testing principle of ultranonic wave technology and build a mathematical model of automobile oil consumption tesing, According to the functional requirements of oil consumption, design the automobile oil consumption system hardware, control circuit and control automation programming to achieve the oil consumption inteligence non-disintegrated measuring. By means of tests and data processing analaysis and modifying the theoretical model, the theory used by the system is feasible and oil consumption measuring system with low power consumption and high accuracy.
