Abstract: The developed litho-sedimentological model of deposits of the YUV1 productive horizon makes it possible to choose the most effective technique for supplementary exploration of a natural reservoir and improve the quality of geological justification for its subsequent development. The research objective is to carry out paleogeographic and paleostructural reconstructions, to identify facies complexes in the Upper Jurassic productive deposits, and to identify zones for the development of improved reservoir units. With the help of paleogeographic and facies methods, the geological regularities of the development of the territory encompassing the Tagrinsko-Yarainersky Bar in the Late Callovian-Oxfordian Stage were studied.

Abstract: The productive formations YUS11 and YUS12 are characterized by a strong lithologic and facies instability. The article shows the results of the analysis of the geological and technical interventions efficiency carried out on these sediments and defines their genetic dependence on the specific features of geological structure. The research objective is to analyze the geological structure of productive deposits, identify facies complexes and assess the effectiveness of geological and technical interventions. With the help of geological-field analysis, a quantitative evaluation of the technological effect obtained during the hydraulic fracturing of well formations, the repair and insulation works and a whole range of measures on intensification of inflow was carried out.

Abstract: The choice of the most effective technology for reservoir completion depends mainly on the conditions for the formation of its constituent deposits and the specific features of their geological structure. This circumstance makes it possible to predict the productivity of newly drilled wells, transferred to the pay zone, as well as to plan the necessary geological and technical interventions with maximum efficiency. The research objective is to assess the influence of specific features of the geological structure of the production zone on the effectiveness of pay zones completion. Facies maps for productive formations were constructed with the help of paleogeographic and facies methods of analysis; a detailed geological and routine analysis made it possible to numerically assess the tightness of the connection between the development indices and the geological and geophysical characteristics of the objects under investigation.

Abstract: The linear motor pump bears the pumping work and other important work, once the valve failure, it threats to the safety of staff seriously. In order to ensure the safety of underground working environment, the abnormal current signal, vibration signals, differential pressure signal and absolute pressure signal are taken as the recognition base, a portable linear motor pump fault detection system is designed. The modular design process of hardware system and software system in detail are given. The data which collected from Victory Oil Field are taken for system test and detection instrument assembly. Test results show that the system can effectively collect failure signal and make an accurate diagnosis. It has the good performance in man-machine interaction, and it has very nice engineering application prospect.

Abstract: Polymer surfactant, which combines the advantages of polymer and surfactant, is a new type of oil displacement agents in oilfield.Meanwhile, the hazardous composition of the polymer surfactant is unknown. In order to clarify its potential impacts on the operator health during production, the hazardous composition and toxicity in the two solutions ,which polymer surfactants prepared by using fresh water and waste water were investigated. And the existence of inorganic and organic pollutants in the solution were also studied. The results were shown that determination of inorganic phosphorus and arsenic exceeded the standard limits. The polymer surfactant powder and solution extraction products were analyzed, it can be concluded basicly that there is no organic pollutants, or it can be ignorable.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem in reactive power compensation of oilfield distribution systems at present, a Taboo search algorithm is proposed in this paper, by which the optimal location and size of shunt capacitors on distribution systems are determined. Then the voltage profile is improved and the active power loss is reduced. In this paper, Voltage qualified is used as objective function to search an initial solution that meets the voltage constraints so that it is feasible in practicable voltage range; then the global optimum solution can be got when taking the reduced maximum of active power loss as objective unction. The examples show that the improved algorithm is feasible and effective.

Abstract: Asset management is an integrated process that aims to achieve the alignment of corporate goals, information systems capable of making rigorous and consistent spending decisions based on asset-level data and cross-functional expertise between the various business process skills. In oil fields, managing the asset requires the decision-making from an integrated analysis of data that enables the understanding of interventions in the field in a comprehensive manner. For this, we propose an approach that by building a database of technical and economic variables, procedures and engineering methods to structure the information, and alignment with organizational strategy, more rational decision and better performances will be possible. These decisions can affect daily oilfield operations, direct investments or even disable an oil field facility.

Abstract: The present paper studies the biodegradability of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) resulting from the waste water of an oil field after carrying out chemically based oil recovery methods. Three aerobic bacteria strains, PM-1, PM-2, PM-3 and PM-4 were isolated from the wastewater. The results indicated that PM-2, PM-3 and PM-4 had better degradability on HPAM. PM-4 showed antagonism to two other strains, whereas PM-2 and PM-3 showed synergetic effects. Primary optimized HPAM degradation conditions of mixed PM-2 and PM-3 were 35 °C ~ 45 °C of degradation temperature and 5.5~7.5 of pH. The mixed PM-2 and PM-3 showed alternative in different media and their different growth stage.

Abstract: Formation porosity near the wellbore can be changed by massive sand production, so it is impractical to use the initial formation porosity in downhole operation design in unconsolidated sand reservoir. The numerical method for sand prediction is limited for its complicated calculation procedures. An analytical model for porosity variation calculation is developed by coupling the material balance equation with the critical fluid drag force. With the result of sand production simulated test, the model can quantify the relation between sand production rate and formation porosity variation. Application of the model in oil field shows that it is simple and practicable for field engineering design.
