Abstract: This article are discussed Sliding Bearing for Turbine instability failure research status in detail; Gives the theoretical analysis On sliding bearing oil film instability failure mechanism, to further explore the oil whirl and oil whip manifestations and signal spectral characteristics. And analysis of the oil whirl speed changes the vibration characteristics of typical regions, given the time-domain waveform oil whirl and oil whip axis trajectory. Details of the turbine generator film and the main reason for the instability factors and made a film instability fault governance approach. It helped for Fault Diagnosis of Turbine film and achieving security and stability of Turbine provides technical reference.

Abstract: According to the LaGrange energy equation, the establishment of the unsteady oil film force of the rotor - stator - bearing system dynamics model, the application of numerical method, the system with the speed change time domain waveforms, amplitude spectra and Axis Orbit, the results show that: the unsteady oil film force and speed of change is closely related to changes in the process of oil film force oil whirl Oil Whip. Provide a theoretical basis for effective diagnosis of rotor - stator - bearing oil film instability fault research.

Abstract: The article discusses the EMD and adaptive time-frequency analysis method based on EMD, and explains the characteristics about oil whirl, oil oscillation. Apply EMD and Hilbert-Huang t transformation to extract characteristics, which verifies applying EMD into feature extraction is effective.

Abstract: In this paper, the dynamic model of rotor bearing system with rub-impact and oil whirl is formulated. Continuation-shooting method for the periodic solution of nonlinear non-autonomous system is used to obtain the bifurcation and stability of the periodic motion of the rotor-bearing system. The effect of the unbalance and rotor/stator clearance on the bifurcation and stability of the periodic motion of the rotor bearing system are analyzed respectively. The results obtained are compared with those of rotor-bearing system with oil whirl fault.

Abstract: Presented have been the methods of modelling of the selected materials and operational imperfections (defects) like rotor cracks and hydrodynamic instability in rotating machines. Despite abundant information on this topic, there are still numerous problems to be solved. This regards primarily to the analysis of characteristic symptoms of such defects in the form of e.g. nonlinear vibrations and coupled forms of lateral, axial and torsional vibrations. The paper presents also author’s opinions concerning the one of the most intriguing operational imperfections, namely the formation of oil whirls and oil whips in slide bearings of a rotating machine. Coupled forms of vibration are generally a result of different kinds of couplings taking place in the system and interactions between construction and material imperfections.
