Abstract: Complex mass faults diagnosis of the pantograph type current collector was difficult. Based on the analysis of the structure, working principle and failure mode of the pantograph type current collector, fault tree of the pantograph was established. A lot of expert knowledge has been collected to support this diagnose process. Some serious problems such as ambiguity, uncertainty and inconsistency exist in the knowledge. Focused on the deficiencies, ontology modeling was proposed in this paper. StrOnto, FaultOnto and FTOnto were established to standardize the knowledge and to improve the efficiency of fault diagnosing. Finally, combined with the example of the pantograph type current collector of CRH2 EMU-train, the proposed algorithms proposed in this paper were proved reasonable and effective.

Abstract: In wireless sensor networks, raw data is just collected and stored as binary value in the relation databases. In the Internet of Things (IoT), it requires machine to understand these multi-sources heterogeneous data’s meanings in specific environment and the interoperable service to share these with other different machines. In order to address these issues, construction of content-aware model based on multi-sources heterogeneous data is necessary to be proposed in the paper, we discussed the IoT theory, new features and problems of the IoT data and based on semantic technology, we put forward the method of content-aware construction based on multi-sources heterogeneous data sensed in the IoT and explained in detail all parts of it. Finally, an experimental simulation platform was given to demonstrate the feasibility and validity of this method.

Abstract: This paper introduces an ontology-based CRM for the commercial use, which specifically is for commercial bank customers. By using the ontology modeling method, which includes competency questions, intuitions, axioms and specific model, this ontology can share the information between the commercial banks and their customers. Ontology for the commercial banks domain is being developed as relationships and facts of the architecture. The steps of developing such an ontology model and a mapping mechanism between the commercial bank's customers and ability of consuming are discussed.

Abstract: The reconfigurable manufacturing system is a cost-effective system that can accommodate a variety of equipments required by customers. However, because of the surprisingly increasing volume and semantically fuzzy nature of the equipment information, one of the main difficulties to realize efficient equipment reconfiguration is the lack of effective equipment representation technologies and semantic description methods. In this paper, a fuzzy ontology model is proposed for storing semantic concepts in the reconfigurable manufacturing system. To discuss fuzzy inference mechanism has indicated that the fuzzy ontology-based method can promote productivity of the reconfigurable manufacturing system.

Abstract: Smart grid makes new request for the representation and application of power grid knowledge. To solve the problem of “information isolated island” caused by the continuous development of power grid and the ineffectively use of massive domain knowledge, ontology technology is introduced into the smart grid field. Each link of smart grid is analyzed and new request for knowledge it makes is introduced. Then a simple introduction of ontology and ontology modeling is made. Referring to the defects of existing ontology modeling methods and considering the specific reality of smart grid, an ontology modeling method suitable for the smart grid field is presented, which is aiming at providing guidance on ontology modeling of smart grid. Finally a modeling example is given which proves the feasibility and efficiency of the method.

Abstract: With consideration of the actual requirement of fault knowledge management in current aviation maintenance, ontology-based knowledge representation method of aircraft fault is studied. Knowledge sources of aircraft fault ontology are analyzed based on ontology modeling primitives. Ontology construction method of aircraft fault knowledge is proposed learning from software engineering and the essence of the existing ontology construction methodology. On the basis of the above study, aircraft fault ontology which is consist of Fault Core sub-ontology, Product domain sub-ontology, Case domain sub-ontology, and Diagnosis domain sub-ontology is build, and it represents aircraft fault knowledge completely and consistently, and also lays the foundation for knowledge management of aircraft fault.

Abstract: Collaborative product development (CPD) is a dynamic collaborative process. A workflow model supporting CPD can provide a powerful and orderly workflow management for modern product development. This paper studies the requirements of CPD towards the workflow model, establishes a workflow metamodel supporting CPD process, proposes an idea of ontology-based workflow modeling and builds the workflow ontology model, which will strongly support interactive manipulation between the workflow management systems of collaborative product development.

Abstract: The process of Collaborative Product Development (CPD) comprises highly creative and knowledge-intensive tasks that involve extensive information exchange and communication among distributed teams. Traditional information management systems fail to provide adequate capability to support CPD, due to their inflexible data structures and hard-wired usage procedures, as well as their restricted ability to integrate process and product information. An ontology-based method of knowledge management is proposed to support CPD. The key idea hiding in the method is a flexible ontology-based schema with formally defined semantics that enables the capture and reuse of design knowledge. A part of CPD-oriented ontology library represented by UML is displayed.

Abstract: To our knowledge, there is no paper in the open literature dealing with the topic in the title. This paper provides an Information Coding Ontology Model (ICOM) to shield semantic heterogeneous of information resources, and to achieve information integration. Sections 1 and 2 of the full paper present the information coding ontology model and its formal definition, then design the mapping framework of the information coding ontology model. Section 3 discusses the mapping algorithm of the information coding ontology model from three aspects: semantic similarity analysis, obtaining semantic similarity algorithm, and semantic mapping and its implementation. Section 4 gives Fig. 7 as the mapping flow chart of the information coding ontology model and uses a numerical example to illustrate the four-step procedure of the mapping implementation process.
