Abstract: Due to the urgent requirements of the current domestic robots development and technical talents, this paper has proposed a methodology on service robot development platform, which is used to achieve the target of basic teaching and stimulate students' creativity. The development platform is composed of mechanical structure, hardware and software control systems. The advantages of the platform are modular, openly designed and easily restructured. So, the robot technology can be developed on the platform. The platform integrates machinery, electronics, communications, computer technology etc. Especially, the control software adopts 3D simulation technology besides network management and remote control functions. It is well-known that Single-arm robot is representative in the development platform. This robot is taken for examples of the mechanical structure, control systems and software design methods during the development platform. The results have been proved that the development platform is beneficial to improve students' practical abilities, help employment and highlight advanced studies.

Abstract: A reliable management system based on RFID was introduced to ensure the more efficient and effective operation of laboratory.In this system, reader/writer is on the basis of MFRC522;P89LPC932 is used as access controller; control nodes communicate with center server based on RS485 and TCP/IP ; development platform is based on Visual Studio2010 and database is established on SQL Server2008. This system has high reliability and good real-time capability because of the distributed structure and centralized control.

Abstract: The residential building is a critical factor to reflect the relations between human and natural environment, and it is required that the residential design is more flexible, healthier and more environmentally friendly and is capable of fully responding to the demands and changes in family life and harmonizing with the environment, as the time goes on and progresses, the concept of “Sustainable & Open Residence” (SOR) has been promoted and applied by many countries, also attracted considerable attentions in the process of the China's Housing Industrialization. The paper discusses how to achieve such the “Sustainability” and “Open” in residential design based on the author’s understanding on SOR under the current conditions in China, a architect should take the initiative to adopt a number of architectural design method to achieve the sustainability and open in residential building design.

Abstract: This paper discusses the development of CAI and finds out the existing problems through the analysis of usage of teaching courseware in the class in the school education in China as well as the application of computer technology in current teaching. Meanwhile, it proposes the promotion of this universal open intelligent classroom teaching software in classroom teaching and a number of principles to follow in its design. Furthermore, the paper elaborates the model structure and detailed functions of each model of this software after full evaluation. The application of this universal open intelligent classroom teaching software will certainly improve teaching efficiency and enhance teaching effectiveness and teaching quality further.

Abstract: According to the design requirements of open CNC system,an open soft-CNC system design was proposed in this paper. The embedded microprocessor ARM and embedded operating systemμc/os-ii was used as the system development latform, introducing of hardware and software design ideas to complete the soft-CNC design and the software was packaged into components, simplified the system hardware architecture, improved the reliability, openness, and real-time of the system.

Abstract: This paper introduces a new open CNC system for winding machines which can overcome the shortcomings the traditional winding machine existed, such as the low control-accuracy, the low speed and the poor quality of its product. The system takes Microprocessor MC68HC000 as the core and its working mode is centralized control and time-sharing processing. The highest drive pulse of the system reaches 500 KPPS and the drive aufloesung can be as high as 0.001mm/Pulse. So, the system software, together with the winding machines’ development kits and operating software, can provide an open design platform of the controller for the winding machine, and it may cater to the market’s needs for winding machines

Abstract: A Micro WEDM (Micro Wire Electrical Discharge Machining) CNC system is presented in this paper. Its hardware platform adopted PC with movement control card. For Micro WEDM system is a typical multitasking and real-time system, the CNC software adopted multithread and module structure to perform the parallel tasks and real-time tasks. It also adopted fuzzy control algorithm to control the feeding speed and acceleration. Practical proved that the CNC system is not only low cost and easy to development, but also satisfied the need of Micro WEDM.

Abstract: With the increase of expanded functions, Open CNC system is getting overstuffed
gradually, which leads to the decrease of flexibility and reliability. Also, it is hard for users to
define their special functions of CNC system. The paper proposes a strategy of intelligent
reconfiguration based on floating hierarchical structure. The stepwise control structure of CNC
system is broken and a reticular structure is built. Each function unit is assigned a code-array
representing its layer levels. By changing values of the code-arrays, the system adjusts layer
levels of the function units to adapt change of external environment. Redundant structure and
technology of switch circuit are applied to establish internal structure of function unit. Technology
of redevelop based on self-conducted configuration and structured language description is put
forward. Strategies of simulation and evaluation are applied to prevent the CNC system from
being damaged by improper redevelop.
