Abstract: Bevel gear is a complicated curved surface parts, the traditional measuring method of bevel gear is by three coordinates measuring instrument for related parameters measurement and there are problems such as reload, high cost and waste of time. In this paper, development of Bevel gear on-machine measurement system based on open CNC system so that the manufacturing and measuring of bevel gear on the same machine tools. This article mainly has studied on structure and function of the system, analyzed the method of pitch deviation and the tooth surface error of the bevel gear and developed bevel gear on-machine measurement system by combining the method of MATLAB with VC++ mixed programming.

Abstract: It describes the development and the present situation of the open CNC system technology. Taking the FANUC30i and Siemens 840D CNC system as an example ,it does an explicit research on data acquisition of the CNC system based on the Ethernet. It proposes a solution with high practicability and low cost for the users who want an online monitoring and alarming system of the CNC system.

Abstract: For the development requirements of high-performance, open CNC system. A reconfigurable and modular upper control software architecture of open CNC system is proposed based on PC+I/O card architecture and Linux software platform. Through this architecture users can quickly customize and develop the required CNC software. Structure model of module with three different levels and each module interfaces are mentioned. Basic consist of upper control software which is achieved by these structure model are introduced. Upper control software modules and communication mechanisms are described. Upper control software of the architecture is achieved on Linux operating system, and the simulation results is given.

Abstract: Numerical control (NC) technology is a kind of technology combined with electronics, machinery manufacturing, and other interdisciplinary combination of technologies. It is an important part of modern manufacturing. Currently, NC technology is developing towards the open CNC system with extensibility and interchangeability, while the modern electronic technology is developing towards the programmable technology and SoC (System-on-Chip) technology. However, current CNC controller designed with SoC is still in the research stage and not practical yet. In this paper, a practical CNC motion controller is built with modern PSoC (Programmable System-on-Chip) with wireless Ethernet interface. This controller has a high-performance microprocessor, numbers of free configurable analog and digital devices and IO (input/output) interfaces, and many kinds of communication interfaces. Therefore, it has good real-time control functions and communication functions. Experiments for controlling a three joint-axis engraving machine show that the controller can achieve high performance of parallel control of the three joint-axis linear interpolation and two joint-axis circular interpolation, and high performance of the trapezoidal and S-shape speed control. In addition, in order to reduce the impact to the motor and increase the system efficiency, a kind of look-ahead algorithm for velocity control with low time cost is used.

Abstract: In order to meet the requirements raised by the surface strengthening and rolling technology of torsion shafts on heavy-duty armored vehicles, an open CNC system, based on PMAC, is developed. The paper covers a detailed description of its hardware and software. Experiments show that the introduction of rolling shafts processed by CNC rolling machines not only improves the surface roughness and abrasion resistance, but also raises endurance strength and production efficiency. Abstract: On the market today, the hardware and most software of CNC system are not exclusive and incompatible, and the system institutions vary, which makes the control systems of different manufacture relatively independent, closed to each other. In order to break this situation, this paper conducted a project design on the hardware and software of CNC system which is based on PC platform. On the hardware, ultimately determine the NC embedded PC architecture, design and motion control card based on PCI bus; in the aspect of software design, use Windows2000/XP operating system to achieve multitasking real-time CNC control, and design the software in the Visual C++ environment .Using the platform to achieve the application of the laser welding system, the design is proved to be feasible, it also reflects the basic idea of the open architecture.

Abstract: In modem manufacturing,the various and complex requirement of industry makes the CNC machine tools more and more automatic and networking.While a remote monitoring and intelligent fault diagnosis system is the basic and indispensable unit for automatic and networking machine tools.This paper is focused on open CNC system,the condition monitoring, and fault diagnosis technology are researched of open CNC system. Integration achieved the CNCmachine tools' status remote monitoring and intelligent fault diagnosis, and detailed analysis of the key technologies for the components of the system. Through effectively integration of the computer technology, Fault Tree Analysis method, or other technologies to enhance the automation, networking and intelligent level of the open CNC system. Abstract: High pressure water jet flexible incremental sheet metal forming (HPWJFISMF), which is a new kind of sheet mental dieless forming with good flexibility, is quite suitable for the production of multi-varieties and small batch products and trial-manufacture of new products. We have designed a five-axis forming machine tool with three translational degrees of freedom of workbench and two rotational degrees of freedom of the nozzle .in order to study the technology of HPWJFISMF. This paper gives a detailed introduction for the hardware structure and software system of machine tool of HPWJFISMF, which adopts an open control system with PC and motion controller. The control system of HPWJFISMF is designed on the platform of VC++6.0 in object-oriented way. The working performance stability of the machine tool has been verified by machining experiments, which offers a good platform for the study of high pressure water jet forming.

Abstract: The inconsistent requirement of surface and core section can be solved through system construction of open CNC quenching machine based on PC + motion control card, to realize surface quenching of mechanical parts. The establishment of mathematical model and algorithm researching of the hardening methods is studied in this paper, especially for the outer edge of the non-circular discoid parts, so as to guarantee the consistence of quenching. The result of the experiments shows that the workpiece such as gear, crankshaft, cam and etc. can obtain higher strength, hardness, wear resistance on the surface, while maintaining original good toughness in the core section.

Abstract: The characteristics of open CNC system and the current several open CNC system models are introduced in this paper. In order to overcome the contradiction between the frequent changes demand and the closure of the traditional system, the open CNC system software and hardware architectures were investigated based on web-collaborative design and development, which improve the system development efficiency. Using the Windows XP operating system as a software platform, the Visual C++ 6.0 object-oriented programming language is adopted to design the CNC drilling control software based on the "PC + NC" the model and modular co-design methods, which improve the openness of the CNC system.
