Abstract: A rain fading mitigation technique, called Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM), is supported by the DVB-S2 standard. But the number of Coding and Modulation Schemes is over dimensioned. It is shown that by a careful selection of the ACM schemes, with one fourth of the total number of schemes, it is possible to get performance close to the optimum, but with a much lower terminal complexity.

Abstract: This study primarily focuses on solving a practical OVRP by applying a novel hybrid adaptive Genetic Algorithm and Tabu Search (GA-TS). The GA-TS combines the GA's parallel computing and global optimization with TS's Tabu search skill and fast local search. In the GA-TS Algorithm, individuals of population do TS local search with a certain degree of probability using natural number coding. It not only ensures global optimization, but also improves the speed of computing. The Algorithm is applied to optimize the mines material transport vehicle routing of China Zhengzhou Coal Mine and power Supply Co., Ltd. Through the applications, the optimal economical transport routing has been set up and economic costs have been greatly reduced.

Abstract: Based on the index of water content, the influence of the dosage of glutaraldehyde, the mass ratio of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) and alginate(NaAlg), the concentration of CaCl2, and the reaction time on PVA-alginate-Ca was discussed. It can be found that when the dosage of glutaraldehyde is 0.85%, the mass ration of PVA increases to 8:1, the solution quality score of CaCl2 is 2%, and the reaction time of PVA-alginate-Ca is 1.5h, the composite polymer water content reaches the highest.Then the preparation condition for PVA-alginate-Ca will be optimized by an orthogonal experiment design, and the optimum preparation condition will be found: ω (glutaraldehyde) is 0.85%, m（PVA）:m（NaAlg）is 8:1 andω(CaCl2)is 2.0%.

Abstract: Through properly setting the simulated annealing options of acceptance function, annealing function and temperature function, an adaptive hyper-parameter estimation method using simulated annealing algorithm is applied to improve the accuracy and efficiency of SVM. While, in order to eliminate the effects of error accumulation in multi-SVM, D-S theory is employed for decision fusion of SVM classifiers. When delimiting the belief and plausibility measures, recognition capability of SVM classifiers has been taken into account. And the Dempster decision rule also has been considered to the recognition result of each SVM classifier in the fusion algorithm. Finely, with the data set in the database of Statlog for the study, the experiment result indicates that this method can significantly increase the classification accuracy and demonstrate a good performance of robust.

Abstract: There is a big difference between force of the fulcrum positions when simply-supported continuous bridge(SSCB) is under load.This paper introduces a method of making SSCB’s fulcrum internal force under load more uniform through applying forced displacement produced by using enequal altitude bearings.Using the force method in structural mechanics infers the forced displacement formula, which provide a theoretical basis for improving SSCB’s structure stress.

Abstract: During the tunnel excavation construction, the internal stress of surrounding rock surface will release to zero immediately, and the displacement of the surrounding rock surface increases slowly because of the delayed strain of the rock material. Set the stress of the surface is easier then set the strain of the surface while numerical simulation of excavation in FLAC3D and other software. Based on the rock mechanics and excavation process, combined with on-site monitoring of the displacement data, use the FLAC3D software to establish study examples, use Genetic Algorithm optimize the weight and bias of the neural network, analyze the release rate of stress of surrounding rock under a reasonable construction time. It can provide the reference data for the tunnel design, construction and the numerical simulation analysis during construction under the similar conditions.

Abstract: Node localization technology is the premise and foundation of all applications in wireless sensor network. An improved DV-Hop algorithm was proposed aimed at the low-power requirement of wireless sensor networks. The distances between nodes and anchor nodes were used to calculate the node location in DV-Hop algorithm, and the immune algorithm was used to optimize the estimated location in the third stage of DV-Hop algorithm. The improved algorithm does not require additional hardware devices, and has smaller additional amount of communication and computation.

Abstract: The applicability and accuracy of whole set oil-immersed pump lectotype are the key points to improve the recovery ratio of oil field and to conserve energy. This paper have conceived the construction and implementation of the expert system of whole set oil-immersed pump lectotype and discussed in several aspects: such as systematic analysis and design, the construction of engineering control platform, the development of plug-in software, the construction of intelligent system and the execution of software design and so on. It has integrated the synthetic approach with expert System of Whole Set Oil-immersed Pump lectotype.

Abstract: In this paper, in order to optimize the shape of a snowboard course, we address the problem with the consideration of four key parameters.Based on a detailed physical analysis, we establish a model to simulate the trajectory of a skilled snowboarder by using Simulated Annealing. Finally, we adopt (SA) algorithm to find out the optimal snowboard course.
