Abstract: By analysis its own characteristics of Reconstruction and Extension freeway slope, summary and presents the main factors affecting slope stability; then use orthogonal test method, analysis the result by Range Method, it indicated that the sensibility of impact factors on the Stability of Reconstruction and Extension Freeway Slope was in the following order: the slope angle after excavation, cohesion, weight of soil layer, internal friction angle, the slope angle before excavation, Cable length, Cable spacing.

Abstract: This research was conducted on the influence of heat treatment parameters on the mechanical properties and abrasive wear resistance of 70Mn steel through experimental results. Orthogonal experiment was applied for designing heat treatment process and acquired optimal heat treatment parameters. The experimental results showed that the optimum heat treatment process was firstly heated to 830°C preserved for 60min, and rapidly quenched, then tempered at 200°C for 80min. Abrasive impact wear experiment was performed on MLD-10 tester, under which the wear surface and the subsurface were observed through scanning electron microscope and optical microscope. According to the experimental result, abrasive impact wear mechanism was analyzed. The results showed that plastic deformation fatigue and gouging wear were the primary mechanisms of abrasive impact wear, together with a small amount of furrow and cutting.

Abstract: A biodegradable co-polymer, Poly (butylene succinate-co-butyene terephthalate) (PBST) was fabricated into nanofibers by electrospinning. A 4-factor 3-level L 9(34) orthogonal experimental design was employed to examine the effects of process parameters on morphologies of PBST nanofibers. The results showed that the weight concentration = 13wt%, the applied voltage = 20kV, the spinning speed = 0.5ml/h, the electrode distance = 10cm and the diameter of needle = 0.7mm were identified as the optimum conditions.

Abstract: Orthogonal array testing was adopted to optimize the formula for the molding of rice husk pellet fuel. An L9(34) array was used; moisture content and ratio proportion of the two additives were set as main influencing factors; the calorific value crush resistance, ash content, density and appearance of rice husk pellets were used as indicators. Visual analysis showed that the optimal formula for the molding of rice husk pellets was: 72% husk, with 15% water, 5% glycerol palmitate and 8% anthracite added. Further tests showed that with these ratios, the calorific value of the obtained pellet fuel17.5MJ/kg, crush resistance98%, density650kg/m3, which meets the standard of European biomass pellet fuel industry.

Abstract: The crack under the action of non-load was the most significant factor to affect the concrete frost resistance durability. The Orthogonal Experimental Design (OED) Method was used in this paper to optimize the match ratio of the additive and to increase the concrete frost resistance durability by adding the PF, the FA, the WA in the concrete and replacing the cement of ordinary silicate with the compound cement. It offers the reference value to the development of the hydraulic concrete.

Abstract: Reactive powder concrete (RPC) is an ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC). Cement and silica fume content of RPC are generally rather high compared to the conventional concrete. The aim of this paper is to decrease the cement content of RPC by using phosphorous slag powder. Firstly the effect of grinding time on the activity index of phosphorous slag was investigated. And then, the mix proportion design of this UHPC containing phosphorous slag powder and silica fume was done through orthogonal design. The results indicate that the utilization of phosphorous slag powder in RPC is feasible when the dosage of phosphorous slag powder is about 35% (by weight of the binder) and the water-binder ratio is less than 0.18. By substituting phosphorous slag powder for a part of cement and keeping the water-binder ratio at about 0.14, UHPC specimens whose content of mineral admixtures, including phosphorous slag powder and silica fume, was about 40%~50% (by weight of the binder) were obtained after they had been cured in 80 °C water for 72 hours. The compressive and flexural strength of those specimens was more than 150 MPa and 20 MPa respectively.

Abstract: The viscoelastic surfactant diverting-acidification technology is a new intelligent matrix acidizing technology.Based on the theoretical analysis,viscosity-variable diverting-acid main agent is selected out. Both the rthogonal design and the grey relational analysis are used to determine synthesis conditions and influence of reaction factors. The production structure is verified by the infrared spectra. Then coreflooding experiments are designed to check the diversion effect, and it shows that the system satisfies the need of diverting-acidification in the carbonate formation.

Abstract: In the "call for paper" of 2013 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC 2013), Special Session on "Differential Evolution: Past, Present and Future", "Experimental design and analysis of DE" is the third area. In this paper, we propose a rapid analysis approach based on Orthogonal Design (OD) and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for performance of DE. The analysis results can be the reliable basis of the principles guiding the creation of adapting rules in novel adaptive DE algorithms.

Abstract: The orthogonal design can make sites in the test range uniformly distributed, which is introduced to slope sensitivity analysis, and can greatly reduce the test times and gets a good test effect. The paper takes the flood discharging tunnel import slope of Jinchuan hydropower station for example, which is a rock slope. This article selects the bulk density, internal friction angle, cohesion, earthquake acceleration four factors to design the orthogonal experiment, and the safety factor of the slope as a test indicators, using the simplified Bishop method of limit equilibrium theory to calculate the safety factor and analyses the slope sensitivity. The results show that the cohesion and earthquake acceleration are the most sensitive factors, and have a very significant impact on the slope stability.
