Abstract: The variation rate of seed-spaces in soil is higher and the qualification rate is lower due to the high seed releasing position of double discs furrow opener of no-tillage planter. To solve this problem, a new belt-type device for air-suction metering was designed and its main structural parameters was determined based on the cavitation time analysis of seed meter. This device integrated both transmission mechanism and seed releasing mechanism into one system, matching with the rotating speed of seed disc and the walking velocity speed of planter. The optimal parameters in relating to seeding performance were obtained by orthogonal test. When the seed releasing height is 100 mm, the rotational speed of seed disc is 30 r/min and the pressure of negative room is 3.5 kpa, the qualification rate of seed-space, the missing rate and multiple rate of seed per hill can be 98.5%, 0.48% and 1.02%, respectively.

Abstract: During selective laser sintering process, different sintering parameters have great impact on the performance of the molded parts, and the degree of influence is different. Using orthogonal test, indirect sintered 316L stainless steel, the compressive strength and precision of the parts were measured and compared to study the influence of various sintering parameters (laser power, scanning speed, scan spacing, preheating temperature) on sintering. The greater degree of influence factors were got by range analysis. The results show that laser power, scanning speed and scan spacing have greater degree of influence on the compressive strength of the parts, and the preheating temperature have less impact. By comparison, the optimum set of parameters was concluded: the laser power is 15W, the scanning speed is 1900mm/s, the scan spacing is 0.125mm, and the preheating temperature is 60°C.

Abstract: The plating parameters for optimizing the wear and corrosion resistance of Ni-TiC composite coatings were selected by orthogonal test, mainly including the TiC particles concentration, current density, duty cycle, frequency and stirring rate. A three-layer BP (Back Propagation) neural network with Lavenberg-Marquardt algorithm was established by MATLAB, which was used to train the network and predicted orthogonal experimental data. In addition, the best parameters combination of the composite coating were predicted and verified by experiments. The results predicted through the proposed BP model are in good agreement with the experimental values, the relative error is small, and the maximum error is less than 3% and the coefficient of determination value is 0.9997.

Abstract: By analyzing two Polycarboxylate cement admixture of different polymerization process adaptability, the cement paste experiment is carried out to show the influence of Polycarboxylate superplasticizer, slump agent and the cement synthesis process on cement adaptability. Through orthogonal design method, result is drawn from the comparison of the influence of initial liquidity and an hour liquidity under different conditions,which is base on treating Polymeric acid process parameters as effecting factor within a certain range. It is shown that the preferably optimized process parameters of Polycarboxylic acid exist in the same kind of cement.The system error caused by the impact of cement composition is indicated in different kinds of cement.The adaptability of Polycarboxylic acid cement admixture of the mother liquor is available in the process optimization of the parameters.

Abstract: The silt content of inlet A, inlet flow B and underflow diameter C were the important factors on the separation efficiency of the hydrocyclone, using hydrocyclone for pretreatment of high turbidity silt water. The silt content of inlet selected 5 kg/m3, 4.5 kg/m3, 3 kg/m3, 2.5 kg/m3. Inlet flow rate selected 2.5 m3/h, 2.2 m3/h, 1.8 m3/h, 1.5 m3/h. The optimal solution selected B2A1C2, which was 2.5 m3/h, 2.5 kg/m3 and 10 mm. The effects of various factors on the hydrocyclone separation were summarized objectively through the analysis of silt content of overflow and particle size. The result showed that: when the silt content of inlet was kept in a certain range, the medium diameter of overflow decreased to 18μm with the inlet flow rate increasing. Condensed bottle silt can discharged successfully, and the overflow water medium diameter decreased gradually with underflow diameter increasing.

Abstract: Carbonic anhydrase(CA)has a catalytic effect on calcium carbonate (CaCO3) deposition, and can also control the deposition of CaCO3. Screening strains that can produce carbonic anhydrase can solve the microbial CA from the natural environment in the role of CaCO3 deposition. Through the single and orthogonal test, the present paper focused on temperature, pH value, culture time and inoculation of 4 factors to optimally culture the psychrotrophic strains, which could produce CA by independent screening from Huanglong of cold calcified water, in order to get high yield of CA psychrophilic strains. The results showed that the optimal condition of the 15-33 strains producing enzyme was temperature 15 °C, incubation time 12 h, pH 6.0, and inoculation 2.0 mL. The 18-10 strains, was temperature 15 °C, incubation time 24 h, pH 6.5, and qinoculation 2.0 mL.

Abstract: In the present work, an attempt was made to solve the problem of distortions during the trial extrusion of an automobile shock absorption by means of orthogonal test method and HyperXtrude software based on ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) method. According to orthogonal test arrangement, nine times simulations were carried out to study the effects of four significant parameters on distortions. Analysis shows that the influence of bearing length on the outlet velocity uniformity is the largest among the four selected factors. The material flow will be held up obviously with bearing length increasing because of the friction enlargement. But once the bearing length is beyond a critical value, its influence on flow resistance will decrease suddenly. The analysis also confirms that the baffle-block height and ram speed also have considerable influence on outlet velocity uniformity. And the impact of welding-chamber height on outlet velocity uniformity is slight and could be ignored. Finally, the die structure was optimized on the basis of the optimal combination of parameters obtained though the results and analysis of the simulation test. Extrudate with high quality were obtained.

Abstract: In this paper, Orthogonal test is used in combination with numerical simulation to get a comprehensive consideration of the effectors of die radius, blank holding force (PHF) and punching velocity on dust shield forming performance. Optimum forming parameters is obtained to optimize die structure. These results will give reference to drawing process.

Abstract: Due to the complexity in the process of the welding, the welding parameters selection and reasonable matching will influence the quality of the power battery joints. There are not specific mathematical models between the welding parameter and the welding quality in the current period and the selection of the welding parameters is only depended on experience. In this paper, the orthogonal test is conducted on the main technological parameter of the welding of power battery packs and the optimal combination of parameters is gained after the analysis of the results of the test, which promotes the quality of the spot welding of power battery packs in series connection and in parallel connection.

Abstract: Porphyran, which structure is similar with carrageenan and agarose, has application potential in drug form developmentas a new pharmaceutical material. Orthogonal experiment was employed to optimizethe porphyran extraction conditions from porphyra yezoensis. The extraction temperature, pH, ratio of liquid to raw material and extraction time were confirmed as 90°C, 11, 30:1 and 3h, respectively.The polysaccharide structure detected by IR spectra was consistent with porphyran, which was suitable for gel formulation preparation.
