Abstract: Magnetic hydroxyl microspheres were prepared by suspension polymerization and activated by epoxy chloropropane. The magnetic particles were characterized in terms of chemical composition, particle size and electrophoretic mobility. These epoxy-activated magnetic particles were assessed as a new carries for immobilized penicillin G acylase (PGA) by covalent coupling. The oriented PGA immobilization was achieved by employing the interaction electrostatic repulsion between PGA and magnetic supports through adding the phenyl acetic acid (PAA), which resulted in a 1.194-fold increase in the enzyme activity yield as compared to that of untreated PGA. No activity of immobilized PGA was lost after 20 cycles and about 94.28% enzyme activity was retained at the end of the 80th cycle in the batch reaction system.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to proposed an application of new multi-input, current-mode gates, especially new, accomplishing logical function NOR to implement T-type standard logical function, dual input gate. Current-mode gates consume almost current from the power supply and therefore are suitable for mixed mode operations. Contrary to voltage mode digital gates, presented in the paper current mode gates do not produce strong voltage and current fluctuations in the common substrate of the mechatronics system. Current-mode gates algebra differs from Boole’s one, as besides logical states “0” and “1” also state “-1” occurs. Thanks to “-1” state it is easy to implement T-type standard logical function for which for hardware implementation, new dual-input current-mode gate is suggested, which in effect reduces hardware complexity of projected CMCL (Current–Mode Current Logic) system.

Abstract: By means of aqueous solution polymerization method, the composites of polyacrylic acid (PAA)/Bacterial cellulose (BC)/Na-MMT and PAA/Na-MMT were prepared respectively. The effects of Na-MMT content on the properties of PAA/Na-MMT and BC content on the properties of PAA/BC/Na-MMT composites were investigated. The results show that with appropriate increasing Na-MMT, the composites has good salt-resistant ability and thermal stability, mean while, the water-absorbing capacity of PAA/Na-MMT composites is significantly increased. Comparing with that of the PAA/Na-MMT hydrogel, with addition of BC content, the water-absorbing capacity and thermal stability of PAA/BC/Na-MMT are enhanced in a certain degree. The SEM analysis indicate that there are more network structure in the composites hydrogel. XRD result shows that the layered structure of Na-MMT is stripped and the prepared composites achieves peel compound.

Abstract: Spinel LiCoxMn2-xO4 powders were prepared by sol-gel combined with heating treatment process. The structure, morphology and electrochemical properties of LiCoxMn2-xO4 powders were characterized by XRD, TEM and constant current charge/discharge techniques. The results show that lattice constant and crystal size of LiCoxMn2-xO4 powder decrease and the crystal aberrance increase with the increasing of cobalt content which has less effect on its spinel structure. The initial discharge special capacity of LiCoxMn2-xO4 decreases slightly with the increasing content of Co but its cyclic performance is improved obviously resulted from the improvement of structure stability. Comprehensively the special capacity and the cycle performance, LiCo0.1Mn1.9O4 composed of about 80nm particles exhibits superior electrochemical property and may be used as the cathode material in new type Li-ion battery.
