Abstract: Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is a technique employed to significantly enhance the corrosion and tribological properties of the materials by forming an oxide ceramic film on the surface of the material. In this investigation, ZM21 Mg alloy was subjected to PEO treatment in silicate and phosphate-based aqueous solutions of 5grams and 10 grams per liter concentrations. The oxide film was characterized using SEM, profilometer, thickness meter, and polarization test. Results showed that the oxide film obtained with 10g/L phosphate-based solution offers higher corrosion resistance than the oxide films formed with other solutions.

Abstract: For the deficiencies of the existing complex circuit designs, a novel transistor-level three-input AND/XOR logic complex gate with simple and symmetry structure is proposed. HPSICE simulation results show that the proposed circuit has correct operation. Further, in 55nm process CMOS technology, compared with the conventional cell-based cascaded AND/XOR circuit at different operation frequencies, the proposed circuit has a significant improvement at delay, power consumption and power delay product (PDP).

Abstract: In order to improve the secondary electron emission coefficient of MgO, we propose to dope Al into MgO. The precursor was obtained by hydrothermal method in the condition of different reaction temperature, different filling volume and different reaction time by using urea, Mg (CH3COO)2 and AlCl3. The Al-doping MgO crystallites powders were obtained by calcining the precursor. The crystal phase and morphology of the products were characterized by XRD and SEM. The results showed that the Al-doping MgO powders were cubic-shaped crystallites. The discharge characteristics of Al-doping MgO powders were tested in a chamber as when the panel was sealed in Ne and 7% Xe at 450 torr. As expected, the discharge voltage of the panel is lower with the Al-doping MgO protective layer than without that.

Abstract: The photoluminescent properties of Na, Bi co-doped CaWO4:Eu3+ phosphor under vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region excited was investigated. A red emission of CaWO4:Eu3+ can be observed under 147 nm excitation. It was also found that the photoluminescence intensity of Na doped CaWO4:Eu3+ would be enhanced than the un-doped phosphors due to Na+ ions would act as a charge compensator and it can restrict the generation of defects in CaWO4:Eu3+. Additionally, the photoluminescence enhancement of Na+, Bi3+ co-doped CaWO4:Eu3+ should due to the energy transfer between WO42-, Bi3+ and Eu3+, and Bi3+ ions would act as a medium for the energy transfer, via WO42-Bi3+Eu3+. These are expected to be applying in plasma display panels.

Abstract: Based on the special correlation of antennas and the power delay profile (PDP) of the cluster model, six models of A-F have been established by the TGn task-group in total. On the basis of the new broadband wireless local area network (WLAN) standard--IEEE 802.11ac with larger bandwidth and multi-user requirements drawn up by the TGac task-group, in this paper, the IEEE 802.11ac channel model is set up by means of improving and simulating the indoor MIMO channel.

Abstract: Plasma Display Panel (PDP) Lighting Inspection Machine is an important manufacturing facility in PDP production line. The key technologies of PDP Lighting Inspection Machine are discussed. Firstly, the advantages of PDP panels and the importance of researching on the PDP Lighting Inspection Machine are introduced. Then, the machine’s hardware structure including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control system, host computer system and visual positioning system is discussed in detail. Finally, the software implementation of the machine is also studied.

Abstract: The test of panel’s display effect is a key step in the panel production. Lighting inspection machines test the electrical, optical and surface information of Plasma Display Panels (PDPs). This machine is based on a PLC control system and a color analysis system. The PLC system controls a visual positioning system and links to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and a panel conveyor. This paper considers the structure design and action workflow of the lighting inspection machine. Multi-layer network is built to connect with the whole production system. Optional operation modes are designed in control program and Man-machine interface is introduced to facilitate the operation.

Abstract: Mg doped BaAl12O19:Mn2+ phosphor is one of the most efficient green phosphors for PDP. It is difficult to prepare the phosphor both have small particle size (< 3μm) and high luminescence. In the present work, a BaAl12O19:Mn2+ phosphor with small particle size was synthesized by the chemical co-precipitation method. Phase transformation and particle growth process during calcining process were investigated. The nucleation process was also discussed. The results show that, the phase transformation is complicated, the transition phases include BaCO3, γ-Al2O3, BaF2, BaAl2O4 and two phases contain Mn; The BaAl12O19 phase is formed from the reaction between BaAl2O4 phase and γ-Al2O3 phase, no a-Al2O3 phase appears during the entire process; The formation temperature of pure BaAl12O19 phase is 1200°C, which is lower than that in the high-temperature solid state reaction method. High efficiency BaAl12O19:Mn2+ phosphor with small particle size (< 2μm) and hexagonal flaky shape can be prepared by this method.

Abstract: A New Stereo Matching Method Based Phase Dynamic Programming (PDP) is presented in this paper. This method, based on gray code value and phase value, implements stereo matching through finding an optimal path on a 2D plane composed of cross phase absolute difference in the same gray region. Before matching, mask-image is adopted to reduce matching data point. During matching, the matching strategy is optimized by adopting sequence consistency technique as well as defining the path orientation. After matching, the error data point is eliminated by matching consistency and median filtering based disparity. Finally, experimental results show this algorithm can get a better performance. Matching process of PDP is simple but effective than others. It not only can get continuous and dense parallax but also eliminate effects of noise and the reconstructive object has high reliability, better authenticity and high precision.
