Abstract: Problems of coal level measuring device, such as low accuracy and big error, make it difficult to monitor the real level of the coal in mugua mine, LvLiang, Shanxi. An automatic monitoring system consists of the SITRANS LR 460 radar coal level meter, S7-300 series PLC and configuration software is designed in this paper. By displaying the information of coal with the WinCC configuration management software in real time, functions such as automatic detection of the bunker level, overrun alarm are realized. The experimental results show that the SITRANS LR 460 has higher accuracy and stability under the high dust environment.

Abstract: In order to make the different angles of the viewers get the best visual effects, the paper proposed a lift tilt rotary landscape showcase which can show all kinds with multi-degree of freedom. Showcase uses the electric motor to drive and PLC applications in the system which can be programmed to control various types of mechanical components, to achieve the function of lifting and descending of 4 position, 8 position, and 12 position, horizontal lift and rotating in 360-degree. The test and operation results demonstrate that the showcase meets the specific functional demand of design.

Abstract: Nowadays though there are large varieties of NC maintenance training equipments in China, the high price as well as the lack of multi-function has made the existed equipments fail to meet teachers and students’ real demands during the NC maintenance training process, it is of great significance to design a special equipment which can combine the theory and practice during the teaching process. Based on the real demands during the teaching practice and taking the PLC assembling software as a core, the NC maintenance training equipment which can fulfill lots of functions including the machine installation and adjustment was designed in this article to enhance the teaching effectiveness of teachers as well as the practice abilities of students.

Abstract: Aimed at the instable pressure of water supply, poor reliability and security problems of the water supply system in high-rise building, this paper adopts frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply technology to design the water supply system with no tower under constant pressure in high-rise building. The water supply system, with PLC as the control center, uses sensor technology and digital PID control to realize constant pressure water supply. Application results show that the water supply system has the characteristics of reliable running, simple operation, saving energy and reducing consumption.

Abstract: The variable-frequency regulating speed technology is a new type of ac motor non-polar regulating speed technology, with the continuous development of power electronic technology, the variable-frequency regulating speed technology is becoming more and more perfect. With frequency control as the core, the application of water supply control system under constant pressure is more and more widely. Taking PLC as the control center, this article uses sensor technology and digital PID control to realize the water supply system under variable frequency constant pressure, and uses the MCGS software to design system to monitor the man-machine interactive interface.

Abstract: According to the characteristics of temperature intelligent control, the automatic temperature control system is designed and analyzed based on PLC. Through the requirement of the control function, electric control circuit is researched, and hardware is selected. According to the programming language, the main program is designed to satisfy the intelligent control which can keep the temperature in specially appointed rang. The design process provides some guidance for the development of the intelligent control with PLC.

Abstract: According to actual control requirements, broadcast transmitter control system is designed with PLC as the core controller. The system hardware design is described and the software design is introduced in detail based on integrated development environment. Transmitter control system functions are realized. And the system can not only meet all the control requirements, but also has a powerful remote control ability and human-computer interaction with good reliability and real-time after the laboratory test and field test.

Abstract: With the development of computer technology, programmable logic controller (PLC) is becoming more powerful and more convenient to be used. However, if the working condition of PLC is too harsh, such as high temperature, humidity, vibration, strong shock and electromagnetic interference, it will directly affect the normal, safe and reliable operation of the whole automatic control system. And coupled with the ineffective peripheral circuit interference measures, it greatly reduced the reliability of the automatic control system and even leads to failure. Therefore, the design of industrial PLC automatic control system must give top priority to the reliability of the hardware and software aspects. This paper introduces the concept and existing research of PLC –based automatic control system, and discusses about the specific design studies from both hardware and software aspects.
