Abstract: At present, concrete blocks serve as the primary construction material in civil engineering due to their convenient material selection and impressive compressive strength. However, their limitations in terms of low tensile strength, poor toughness, and susceptibility to cracking hinder their progress. To enhance the flexibility and resilience of concrete, incorporating fibers is a viable method to develop a composite material. Concrete blocks, pavers, and kerbstones are widely using in construction applications. However, this is susceptible to cracking, especially under heavy loads or in harsh environmental conditions. Pine needles is a promising new material for reinforcing concrete. This is strong, durable, and sustainable. Pine needle is a promising material for reinforcing concrete blocks, pavers, and kerbstones. It has been shown to enhance a wide range of concrete valuables, containing tensile strength compressive strength, flexural strength, toughness indices, and energy absorption. This makes it a better choice than other reinforcement materials, such as millet husk ash, PET bottle, sheep wool, and coconut-fiber rope, which have only been shown to improve certain properties. Based on the literature review, wheat straw should be the first choice for reinforcing concrete due to its superior performance. Fibers, following certain treatment or recycling processes, [specified material] has been documented for its utilization in various forms as construction materials. Consequently, the objective of this literature review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the potential of waste fibers in the production of concrete blocks, pavers, and kerbstones. This entails a specific focus on scholarly articles published within the last decade in highly regarded journals.

Abstract: Asphalt paver is the main machinery and equipment for asphalt paving job, the performance of its automatic leveling control system is the key factors of the pavement. This paper analyzes the effect of deformed arm on paver leveling control system and the main factors influencing leveling system performance. On the basis of that, it proposes structural adjustment programs of paver leveling system to enhance its performance.

Abstract: The hydraulic system of screw distributor plays an important role in asphalt paver. It belongs to the speed-regulating system of pump controlled motor. The motor speed and direction of rotation can be controlled by variable delivery pump. Thus the transferring speed of bituminous mixture can be adjusted. The mathematical model of the system is presented, and dynamical characteristics are analyzed. Simulation results indicate that the system is suitable to screw distributor and has high operating efficiency. By changing the angle of swashplate, the rotating speed of motor can be adjusted proportionally. The undamped natural frequency of the system is lower for two reasons. One reason is only one line controlled by the trapped oil spring rate. The other reason is larger volume of pump.

Abstract: Displacement control unit is an important part of hydraulic system for screw distributor. By adjusting the angle of swashplate, it can change the flow rate of pump and rotating speed of screw distributor. The rotating speed of screw distributor has influence on quality of road. The mathematical model of displacement control unit is presented. Its dynamical characteristics are analyzed. The mathematical model includes a reset spring gradient. The reset spring gradient is much smaller than the hydraulic spring rate, the effect of the reset spring gradient can be neglected. So an inertial element can be substituted by an integration element.

Abstract: In order to improve the performance of crawler paver’s traveling and reduce the paver’s straight traveling deviation, a new control plan of paver’s traveling system was proposed. In the control plan, the left wheel control method adopted velocity closed loop control in order to keep constant-speed moving of the paver. The right wheel control method adopted the series structure of fuzzy control and PID control in which the fuzzy controller slightly adjusted the right wheel set point of PID controller according to the distance difference variable and velocity difference variable of paver’s left wheel and right wheel. In the working condition of straight paving, the real time deviation correction is achieved to assure paver’s straight traveling.

Abstract: Paver is a kind of equipment used for high quality road alignment. As an important system of the paver, spiral feeder system consumes power accounted for about half the total power of the engine. Based on RP953 paver as an example, this paper analyzes the spiral feeder of the parameters of the points and optimizes configuration design basis, which can provide valuable information for the designing of the spiral feeder.

Abstract: In this article, the tamper system of multifunction- paver has been simulated by AMESim, and the simulation model of the tamper system of multifunction- paver has been established. The simulation results show that the hydraulic impact of the system will be decreased and the response speed of the system will be improved, when accumulator and PID controller are equipped. Simultaneously, the stability of vibrated system will go down with the increase of vibration frequency. When vibration frequency is over 20 HZ, the performance of system will go bad, and the vibration of system will be significantly enhanced.

Abstract: Tamper mechanism is one of the most important parts in all of Asphalt-pavers. In this article, the mathematical model of the tamper system has been established and the stability of the system has been analyzed by using Matlab. According to the operating principle of tamper system of Asphalt-paver, the simulation model of tamper system of Asphalt-paver has been established by using AMESim. The main parameters of the model were set, and then, the simulation results were analyzed, which show that the system is stable and the dynamic performance of system will be improved, when accumulator and PID controller were equipped. Besides, the tamping frequency of hammer is very important to the performance of system. When tamping frequency of hammer over 20HZ, the performance of system will go bad.
