Abstract: In this paper, a new sliding-mode observer (SMO) for sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is proposed. The observer is built based on the study of the back electromotive force (EMF) equivalent control. The new SMO, which substitues a hyperbolic tangent function for the signum function with a variable boundary layer, can reduce the chattering phenomenon. In order to overcome the time delay, we cancelled the low-pass filter and phase compensation module. In this way, not only the structure of the observer is simplified, but also the estimation precision is improved. The simulation results prove that the new SMO has a good dynamic performance and static quality.

Abstract: For the imprecise and cumbersome of the brushless DC motor simulation, a novel simulation method based on modular design has been proposed. The Simulation model contains a power supply circuit, a PMSM , and a control unit which uses speed and current double-loop control mode. The outer ring of the double-loop control is speed loop with a PI control, it can stable torque and anti-load disturbance, the inner ring is current loop, with hysteresis current control, plays stable current role. Simulation results showed that the simulation method is precise and runs faster.

Abstract: In this paper, a new sensorless speed control strategy which is based on a new sliding-mode observer (SMO) is proposed for permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The rotor position is estimated by the back electromotive force (EMF). In order to improve the estimation accuracy, the speed estimator is proposed, which replace the method of direct differential. The Lyapunov theory is applied to prove the stability of the designed system. The simulation results indicate that the proposed sensorless speed control system of permanent-magnet synchronous motor based on a new sliding-mode observer is effective and feasible.

The algorithm of vector control system is proved effective to modify parameters and debug. And the researches provide the experiment basis of motor control strategy study.

Abstract: Has the advantages of quick response of PMSM using the method of DTC, but will make the high torque and big magnetic flux linkage ripples. In order to solve this problem, using the fuzzy neural network hybrid system to replace the traditional hysteresis controller, Strong learning ability and fuzzy logic in handling uncertain information has the adaptive ability of neural network, the fuzzy neural network hybrid system to produce the expected voltage vector, the speed of a smooth transition of permanent magnet synchronous motor. The proposed method is validated by simulation under external disturbances in motor is very effective to reduce the ripple of torque and flux, the speed of the fast response and smooth transition.

Abstract: Self-sensing control of permanent magnet synchronous motor has been a hot research topic of motor control technology, which has the advantages of low cost and high reliability. The use of a high-frequency carrier signal superimposed on the fundamental excitation of PMSM has established itself in recent years as a viable means of eliminating position sensors in ac drives for applications. In the carrier signal injection methods, the rotor position can be estimated by using the carrier signal current resulting from the interaction between the carrier signal voltage and the spatial saliency. The existing sampling error and random noise of high frequency current signal were uncertain to the rotor position self-sensing, that may affect the rotor position self-sensing precision. This paper describes a new wavelet de-noising method of the high-frequency current signal, improving the de-noising results significantly.

Abstract: Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) now is widely used in hybrid vehicle drive area. When the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is used in PMSM control, the stator three phase currents must be collected for its control calculation. In this paper, a PMSM stator current collection system based on C8051F500 and AD7865 is designed, and proved to be effective with experiments.

Abstract: Aiming at difficulty of determining the noise matrix parameter, PSO algorithm is applied to the optimization of noise parameter matrix. the fitness function is the time integral of the absolute value of the deviation between actual value and estimated value of the motor speed, the position of the particle, which makes the value of fitness function the smallest, is ultimately determined through constantly adjusting the position of the particle in the space, thereby computing matrix with the smallest deviation. The results show that the precision of speed estimation is obviously improved after noise matrix parameters of the system are optimized by PSO algorithm. And optimized waveform pulse of the motor speed is diminishes, speed-governing is more stable.

Abstract: Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo system has been widely used in various fields. To improve its performance, the hardware and software of PMSM servo system based on the advance DSP of TMS302F28335 were designed in this paper. The principle of DTC for PMSM and stator flux estimator used LPF instead of pure integrator are introduced. The simulation and experimental results show that the designed servo system can achieve good dynamic, static performance and good robustness.
