Abstract: When the system requires reconfiguring or repairing, the load on one of distribution feeder needs to be transferred to another feeder without interrupting. However, there are several conditions which affects the load transfer on distribution feeder, including substation types, feeder loads, and primary side voltage of transformer. Those conditions will result in abnormal high current on load transferring, and the high current will lead to the operation of overcurrent relay. This paper uses ASPEN and Matlab/Simulink to simulate the load transfer of distribution feeder, and investigate the factor that will affect protection relay. An OLTC and a phase shifter is used to improve the high current during load transfer. It will avoid the action of protection relay, and improve reliability in power supply.

Abstract: A compact feeding network for a wideband circularly polarized multi-mode Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antenna is presented. Four feed method for the antenna is adopted to suppress the higher modes and increase the 3dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth. A broadband phase shifter with 0°, 90°, 180°, 270° phase differences using composite right/left-handed transmission line structure combined with novel schiffman phase shifter is analyzed, designed, simulated, implemented and measured in this article.

Abstract: In this paper, a microwave material (Ba0.85Ca0.15)0.5Sr0.5TiO3 with 5 wt% MgO additive was prepared by traditional solid-state reactions, i.e., mixing BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 powders and then doping CaTiO3 and MgO. It was found that, with the increasing CaTiO3 content, the dielectric constant of the resultant material decreases and the tunability and dielectric loss increase.
