Abstract: In this paper, a hybrid system to carry out the function of photovoltaic power generation and power quality control simultaneously was proposed. The configuration and principle of the hybrid system were discussed firstly, and then the mathematical model of the hybrid system was presented. To realize the compound function, a deadbeat compound control strategy was proposed. In the compound control strategy, the calculation method of the reference signal is proposed to achieve reactive power and harmonic detection, active signal for grid-connected electricity generating and DC-side voltage maintaining; to improve the dynamic response and decrease the steady-state error of the hybrid system, deadbeat compound control method was proposed. The new hybrid system is implemented in a 10kVA prototype in the laboratory. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed hybrid system can effectively stabilize photovoltaic power generation, reactive power compensation, and harmonic elimination.

Abstract: Solar photovoltaic power generation as an inexhaustible, inexhaustible clean energy has become the focus of future energy development. Along with photovoltaic power generation incorporated into the power grid, in order to make power generation plan reasonably, ensure the stable operation of power system, need to forecast the photovoltaic power output. In this paper solar photovoltaic power generation forecasting methods are analyzed and summarized. According to the application of solar photovoltaic power generation and demand, mainly on photovoltaic power generation system power prediction research method has carried on the comprehensive elaboration, hoping for the researches play an important role in promoting and advancing the development of solar photovoltaic prediction methods.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of storage capacity configuration in distributed photovoltaic energy, firstly a brief introduction of the storage methods in distributed PV (photovoltaic) energy is given out. Then it mainly discusses the configuration mode of distributed photovoltaic battery energy storage capacity within a variety of methods and principles of the research situation. And their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed in detail. Finally, the energy storage capacity configuration problems to be solved in the future development and its application should be made to focus on the aspect shortly.

Abstract: The design scheme for PV system connecting the grid is provided, considering the reactive power compensation, harmonic and lightning effects. Solar power generated connects into the nearby medium and low voltage distribution networks by the inverter. The capacity of solar power total is 1.15MWp. The electricity is generated for personal use; the remaining is connected to the grid system. The scheme is reasonable in design; the system is stable and reliable by the practical testing. It can be used in large range popularization and application.

Abstract: Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm directly affect the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic power generation system independent of energy, the thesis of common strengths and weaknesses of the MPPT algorithm to summarize, the traditional method of perturbation and observation maximum power point tracking algorithm is improved and build a simulation model, the simulation model are direct and network controllers and input grid and grid-independent photovoltaic power generation system model of network simulation, and network time from both the grid conditions, and the impact of current network waveforms and grid voltage waveform analyzed. Simulation results observed with the conventional perturbation method were compared and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the improved method.

Abstract: The change of wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation and power load reflects the regularity and randomness at the same time, which leads to a casual fluctuation of power flow in urban power grid with multiple generators. The static and dynamic probabilistic power flow model are compared and analyzed in this paper, the dynamic probabilistic model is adopted for simulating the characteristics of power flow in urban power grid with multiple DGs. The results show that the power flow of urban power grid changes not only regularly but also randomly. These two characteristics of power flow should be considered for power grid dispatching and control.

Abstract: As an indispensable part of renewable energy power generation system, energy storage to a large extent, has resolved randomness and fluctuation of photovoltaic power generation and enabled its smooth output. Firstly, a method of energy management by means of LabVIEW was proposed. Based on its advantages on data collection and convenience of hardware integration application, this software was used to conduct real-time surveillance and control of such parameters as charge-discharge current and DC line voltage. Then, five operating mode were raised on the basis of generating capacity of photovoltaic cell and surplus capacity of energy storage battery , insure quick response and high-efficiency operation of the system. Finally, the effectiveness of energy management proposed method was verified on the built experimental platform.

Abstract: Qinghai-Tibet region has abundant solar energy resources. The photovoltaic power generation can be utilized to solve the electricity-supply problem in most parts of the region having no access to electricity. General household photovoltaic power can solve the basic problem of electrical lighting, but in some cases where large-power electricity supply is needed, such power cannot be utilized, which means its scope of application is limited. We employ the STM32 intelligent microprocessor controlling method to collect parameters and features of storage batteries and photovoltaic modules. The system can automatically expand capacity and output power, which is very practical in making general household photovoltaic power more widely applied.

Abstract: In order to deal with a lot of adverse influence of photovoltaic power generation for power grid, such as the intermittence, randomicity and undulation, AGC / AVC in a photovoltaic power station have become a fundamental requirement. This paper introduces the structure, contro1 strategies of AGC / AVC system in photovoltaic power station. A practical application is carried out at Shizuishan PV power station in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The result shows that the technical specifications of the system meet the requirements of the site operation.
