Abstract: This paper introduces the structure and working principle of planar flexible bending joint .It uses compressed air to drive the deformation, which can realize elongation and bending. On the basis of force and torque balance analysis, the relationship between the elongation and bending angle of joint and the air pressure are acquired. Experimental system is constructed on the static experimental device. Due to the errors of manufacture technology, the correction coefficient is introduced. The statics model can better reflect the process of movement after introducing a correction factor.

Abstract: Through the assembling process analysis of the switch functional parts, the physical structure of the assembling equipment was designed and modeled, moreover, the schematic diagram of the pneumatic drive system was also designed on the basis of the motion requirements of the equipment, and finally, the I/O allocation and the electric control diagram were designed accordingly, together with the PLC programming flowchart plotted. Eventually, remarkable benefit has been exhibited after putting into production.

Abstract: In order to improve the cleaning efficiency of curtain wall, a pneumatic robot is designed. The robot is consists of mobile system, adsorption system and cleaning system. The mobile system is a cross-shaped framework that is driven by the pneumatic system and moves mutually. Vacuum sucker scheme is adopted in the adsorption system. Cleaning brush is driven directly backward and forward by the cylinder. The adsorption and detachment of robot feet sucker, body movement and sequence control of the robot cleaning task are controlled by the PLC. The function that robot can clean glass curtain wall efficiently by the harmony operation is achieved.
