Abstract: The effect of refuge used by prey has a stabilizing impact on population dynamics and the effect of time delay has its destabilizing influences. Little attention has been paid to the combined effects of prey refuge and time delay on the dynamic consequences of the predator-prey interaction. Here, a predator-prey model with a class of functional responses was studied by using the analytical approach. The refuge is considered as protecting a constant proportion of prey and the discrete time delay is the gestation period. We evaluated both effects with regard to the local stability of the interior equilibrium point of the considered model. The results showed that the effect of prey refuge has stronger influences than that of time delay on the considered model when the time lag is smaller than the threshold. However, if the time lag is larger than the threshold, the effect of time delay has stronger influences than that of refuge used by prey.

Abstract: This paper analyses the dynamics of a non-smooth predator-prey model with refuge effect, where the functional response is taken as Holling I type. To begin with, some preliminaries and the existence of regular, virtual, pseudo-equilibrium and tangent point are established. Then, the stability of trivial equilibrium and predator free equilibrium is discussed. Furthermore, it is shown that the regular equilibrium and the pseudo-equilibrium cannot coexist. Finally, the conclusion is given.

Abstract: —In this paper, the effect of prey refuge on the dynamic consequences of the stage-structured predator-prey system with time delay are studied. The results indicate that the prey refuge play an important role in population dynamics, the extinction and coexistence of predator and prey population. The results show that the equilibrium density of immature and mature prey populations increase with increasing in prey refuge and the prey refuge has a clearly stabilizing effect on the predator-prey system with stage structure and time delay under a restricted set of conditions. The Data process is also analysized and obtained.

Abstract: Hopf bifurcation occurs in most of dynamics systems when the influence from the past state varies. In modeling population dynamics, it is more reasonable taking into account the time delays. In this paper, a stage-structured predator-prey system with delay is considered. The existence of Hopf bifurcations at the positive equilibrium is established by analyzing the distribution of the characteristic values. An explicit algorithm for determining the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are derived by using the normal form and the center manifold theory. Numerical simulations to support the analytical conclusions are carried out.

Abstract: In this paper, a predator-prey system with functional response is studied, and a set of sufficient conditions are obtained for the stability of equilibrium point of the system. Moreover, optimal harvesting policy is obtained by using the maximal principle, and numerical simulation is applied to illustrate the correctness.

Abstract: By using the Floquet’s theorem and the comparison theorem of impulsive and differential equation we give sufficient conditions for the globally stability of the a impulsive prey–predator harvesting model with Beddington-DeAngelis response functional.

Abstract: In this paper, the control for predator-prey model with stage-structured predator is studied. The controllers and the parameter estimation update laws are established explicitly which make the system under consideration stable.
