Abstract: FeCrAl alloy is regarded as the optimization material for coal-gasification purification with high temperature, due to its good mechanical property, oxidation resistance and sulfide resistance. This paper focuses on the effect of preoxidation on sulfidation resistance of porous FeCrAl alloy. The continuous and dense Al2O3 film, which was formed on the surface of porous FeCrAl alloy after preoxidation, can prevent the diffusions of atom S and metal ion and improve the sulfidation resistance.

Abstract: By the reason of strong responses activity and oxidation ability, Chlorine dioxide as oxidant and disinfectant has been applied to peroxidation and disinfection more and more widely. In this paper, it give an account of the preparation of chlorine dioxide, as oxidants to raw water pretreatment, used in filter water disinfection ,the detection technology of chlorine dioxide and disinfection by-products, the water quality standards formulated by domestic and overseas chlorine dioxide in using chlorine dioxide, and summarized progress on drinking water treatment with chlorine dioxide .

Abstract: This study was performed to illustrate the effects of preoxidation by potassium permanganate on the fluorescence spectrum of Microcysis aeruginosa, a kind of blue-green algae. The results showed there were four dominate excitation/emission (Ex/Em) wavelength pairs, 230/334, 280/312, 280/334 and 620/642 nm/nm in the fluorescence spectra of algae and their derived organic matters (AOM). Coagulation resulted in desorption of the organic matter adsorbed in algae cells and produced two new fluorophores centered at 275/460 and 400/460 nm/nm. Potassium permanganate preoxidation could reduce the fluorescence intensity of algae and dissolved algal organic matters effectively and the descent rate increased with increasing potassium permanganate dosage.

Abstract: The character of ilmenite was modified by pretreatment, the effect of pre-oxidation temperature and time on structure of ilmenite were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Thermo-gravimetric/differential thermal analysis. The results indicated that new microcrystal rutile and FeTiO3·Fe2O3 solid solution were appeared on the surface of mineral below 800°C, but evident rutile crystals and pseudobrookite Fe2O3·TiO2 were appeared above 850°C with the structure of ilmenite disrupting simultaneously. The preoxidation time increased from 15min to 60min, evident microcrystal rutile and FeTiO3·Fe2O3 solid solution were appeared by degrees without structure of ilmenite breaking.

Abstract: The authors present studies of behavior of Crofer steel in H2 polluted by H2S. The high temperature corrosion behavior of Crofer 22APU steel pre-oxidized samples and not pre-oxidized ones were studied in the temperature range of 600 – 900°C in H2/H2S atmospheres in sulphur vapor pressures in the range of 10-7-10-1 Pa. Kinetics depend on the temperature and sulphur pressure, however the process of sulfurization for pre-oxidized samples was slower.
