Abstract: Grid infrastructure is vulnerable to damage or breakdown by various of natural disasters and man-made disasters to cause a loss of all or parts of the function of power system. In this paper, through the analysis of various factors affecting the hub substation physical vulnerability of hub substation such as human factors, natural disasters and equipment factors, calculate and classifiy the influence degree of each factor on the physical vulnerability. Put forward a series of suitable vulnerability assessment method for China's national hub substation. What’s more, take a specific hub substation for example to verify the assessment methods that provided a basis for safe operation of power facilities and disasters prevention.

Abstract: The spatial characteristic indicators of pedestrian facilities for evacuation are presented in order to contribute to the organization and management of pedestrian evacuation flow. An evacuation network is constructed based on the spatial layout of pedestrian facilities, in which the nodes represent moving sub-areas and two-way arc is on behalf of moving bottlenecks. Spatial characteristic indicators are built based on Multiple Origins Single Destination (MOSD) evacuation network including movement distance, movement amount, evacuation bottleneck, and evacuation aggregation extent. Through a case, the computation and application of the spatial characteristic indicators are presented in the layout analysis of pedestrian facilities, in which relevant improvement measures of spatial layout are advised.

Abstract: Based on the special circumstances of public safety at the railway station region, the risk assessment index system of public safety in this area is built. Analytic Hierarchy Process is selected as the method of decision making and comprehensive assessment. Taking the characteristics and pattern of historic development of the public safety situation in Xi’an railway station region, the rationality of index weights is verified. Then, the risk assessment of public safety in Xi’an railway station region is conducted through expert investigation and grading. The results show that the system security level of Xi’an railway station region is grade II, the evaluation scores of B1, B2 and B3 are 83.5, 84.4 and 87.8 respectively, the indexes of index layer whose system security level in grade I contain C9, C14, C23, C24, C29, C30, C32 and C35.

Abstract: The identifying accuracy of crowd formation recognition models are typically tailored to the type of structure of model, or a specific scene domain. In this paper, we explore the sub-optimal structure of crowd formation model with K2 algorithm. Experimental results show that the recognition model structure taking into account at most two parents performs better than others on a data set generated from Xidan Commercial Street.

Abstract: This paper illustrates China Public Safety Early Warning Information on the basis of comparing some successful and unsuccessful earthquake cases. Structure and functions of China Public Safety Early Warning Information are shown. Weaknesses of China Public Safety Early Warning Information are also pointed out. Some improvement of China Public Safety Early Warning Information is looked into.
