Abstract: The aim of this work was to find out an alternative drying process for semi-dry fermented sausages. Fermented sausages were subjected to hot air drying (HA) and microwave vacuum drying (MWV), respectively. The HA was carried out at 70 °C for 60 min. For MWV, three temperatures i.e. 30 °C, 40 °C and 50 °C were applied with pressure controlled at 80 kPa and microwave intensity at 6 kW for 2 min. After drying, the dehydration rates were determined immediately. The products were stored at room temperature until the end of experiment. The pH value, 2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA) and total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) contents were measured at 0, 7, 14 and 28 days, respectively. In addition, the sensory properties were evaluated at 28 d. The results showed that compared to the HA, MWV could postpone the rise of pH value, TBA and TVB-N contents during the storage. Moreover, the sensory properties of MWV were better than that of HA, indicating that MWV would be a greatly promising drying process for semi-fry fermented sausages.

Abstract: This paper presents the conclusions the machined surface quality for steel X04Cr16Ni12MnTiN. Based on the cutting tests, cutting speeds of 50 to 90 m/min, feed rate of 0.02 to 0.8 mm and screw drill carbide monolite. The results of the article are conclusions for working theory and practice for drilling of steel X04Cr16Ni12MnTiN.

Abstract: Recent evidences shows that the more and more manufacturing companies are recognizing the importance and necessity of quality improvement if they are to survive domestic and world-wide competition..Day by day technology is changing, accordingly the approach and the techniques to manage overall processes are also renewed. A systematic and efficient way to meet this challenge is the continuous process improvement. The continuous process improvement can be achieved by practicing TQM concepts. The important concepts are optimization of performance, quality and cost.. In this paper an attempt is made in an industry to optimize the process parameters of the welding process so that the overall performance of the process and the quality of product is improved. The Taguchi technique uses a tool called Orthogonal Array and a measure of quality called Signal-to-Noise ratio. .ANOVA is used to optimize the welding parameters (input parameters) to find the responses {output parameters). The optimized input parameters are used to compare the output responses for both theoretical and actual, those obtained from the profile projector. The actual values are found to be comparable to the calculated values.

Abstract: In this paper, a two phase flow distribution in a horizontal pipe is numerically analyzed by solving one dimensional steady state momentum equation for predicting the pressure drop (∆P), quality of steam at outlet of the pipe (X), void fraction (α). The heat absorbed by the pipe (Q) and the mass flow rate (W) of water are varied over a wide range to investigate the above parameters. The locations of the two phase mixture are discussed. Pressure drop along the pipe is inconsistent for different flow rate so, the stable and unstable steady state solution is also carried out using Linear Stability analysis. The present numerical results are compared with the reported data from the literature and found that they are in good agreement. This study is used to calculate the pressure, temperature, hold up and quality within the horizontal pipe.

Abstract: The weakness of the existing system of urbanization comprehensive evaluation is: evaluation Indexes were not comprehensive, and the evaluation system can’t reflect the real situation; analysis method was complex, and difficult to operate. We established evaluation index system from the economic development, social development, living, environment, infrastructure, spatial density, and urban-rural gap. We used entropy and comprehensive evaluation method to process and analyze the indicators. The results show that the quality of urbanization development is obviously different in Shaanxi Province, the effect of secondary cities is not obvious to promote the development, and the internal gap is still large in provincial cities and sub-index level.

Abstract: In order to determine the proper irrigation amount of summer tomatoes,taking drip irrigation in green house,5 irrigation volume including 990 m3/hm2、1485 m3/hm2、1980 m3/hm2(CK)、2475 m3/hm2、2970 m3/hm2 were set,and the effects of different irrigation amount on the yield and quality of tomato in greenhouse were studied. The results showed that with the increase of irrigation amount,the soluble solid content,titratable acid content,Vc content and irrigation water use efficiency of tomato decreased. In treatment T1, T4, T5 ,yield decreased by 26.3%, 6.5%, 15.8%. In treatment T2 , the yield decreased by 1.9%,while the irrigation water use efficiency increased by 20.8%,and the soluble solids content,titratable acid content and Vc content increased.It is concluded that the optimum irrigation amount is 1485 m3/hm2.

Abstract: The condition of the cutting tool when drilling composite materials is the controlling factor for the surface integrity of hole produced. The high rate of tool wear when drilling composite materials makes finding a way to monitor the condition of the cutting tool without interrupting the drilling process a great necessity. Inspecting the condition of the drill between or during the drilling process is not practical or economical. In an attempt to tackle this problem, a new approach of on-line tool wear monitoring method using an air-coupled audio microphone is proposed. An experimental investigation was conducted on multi-directional carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) composite material using a high speed steel (HSS) drill. The result shows that, the amplitude of the acoustic signal from the microphone decreases when the amount of flank wear increases and the amplitude of thrust force and torque increases with the increase of the flank wear. This result demonstrates that the proposed approach can be used as an effective and economical tool for on-line monitoring of cutting tool condition.

Abstract: Tapping by cutting is one of the most common operations in manufacturing. It consists of cutting internal threads on the wall of a previously drilled hole by means of a tool called a tap that has cutting edges on its chamfered periphery. When tap wear is slight the process and geometry are usually in control and correct, respectively. However, when tap wear level is high the geometry is not correct and the process is out of control. This is an unacceptable industrial cost. The aim of this paper consists on an industrial monitoring application to data coming from the current/torque signal of the tap spindle for assessing thread quality. It operates in real time and indicates when the tap wear is so critical that, if the process were continued, it would result in unacceptable screw threads. Then the system shows a red light so that the operator could replace the worn-out tap. The system would be very cost-effective since the tapping process could be run without any operator intervention.

Abstract: Based on literature research, this study proposed a topic on the safeguard system of quality of excellent engineers training. Four safeguard elements of training quality are elaborated, namely, faculty building (premise), collaboration with enterprises (key point), governmental support (guarantee) and the participation of students (basis). Likewise, basic knowledge structure, engineering capability training and engineering accomplishment cultivation are safeguard elements of training quality. Meanwhile, the construction of collaboration, control of practice, improvement of safeguard mechanism and the fulfillment of participating members are safeguard conditions of training quality. It is concluded that Excellence Program can be achieved and effective by constructing the safeguard system of training quality and serious process control.
