Abstract: This paper studied in the process of RFID screen printing, the influence of mesh number, curing temperature and curing time on the RFID tag resistance. During the experiment, there are three specifications, 120 meshes, 250 meshes, 350 meshes , the curing temperature is set as 110 °C, 120 °C, 140 °C, 150 °C, 160 °C and the curing time is 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 25min. The experimental results indicate that RFID tags produced by the screen of 120 meshes have rough surface and fail to meet the requirements; when the curing temperature and curing time respectively reaches 150 °C and 20min, the resistance value of the antenna is low and stable.

Abstract: The paper presents the structure of a control system incorporated into a process line for the production of documents secured with RFID labels. The line enables a flexible and easy manufacture of goods with different shapes and sizes in a low-cost experimental production undertaken to meet the needs of continuing improvement of prototypes and short series of innovative products with increased durability and higher level of security, which is possible to be obtained due to the application of electronic and graphical protection systems [1]. The line is intended for the assembly of multilayer documents. The documents are made of a raw stock in form of paper web, an RFID inlay and a protective film which all are glued together with the use of cold gluing and hot-melt techniques or in which a transfer tape with an adhesive film is applied. The tape and the elements mounted on it are transported and stopped by drive modules, whereas maintenance procedures are executed by actuators. These modules initiate proper strain of the tape, and as a result the material is flattened and a stable distance between the elements mounted on it is preserved. In the case of a start-stop operation and close distances between individual guide rollers, a proper tape strain and the time-space synchronization of all the modules constitute an important aspect of the control over the flexible technological system.

Abstract: Anti-collision algorithm of label is a key technique to enhance identifying efficiency in the RFID system. This paper make a new conception of couple of single-bit collision that based on the elementary query tree algorithm and two improved algorithm analyzed in detail. Meliorating the both back query tree algorithm and dynamic back query tree algorithm by single-bit anti-collision algorithm could achieve the function that discern double labels at the same time by inquiry once. Simulation results show that the single-bit anti-collision could reduce times and time of total inquiries, particularly, dominant improvement of deterministic algorithm by this algorithm when the amount of labels above and beyond half capacity permitted by collision bits.

Abstract: The article deals with the possibilities and advantages of implementing radio-frequency identification technology (hereinafter referred to as “RFID”) and the electronic product code information system (hereinafter referred to as “EPCIS”) in manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic. It describes the common efforts of many partners aimed at establishing and implementing a customized system supporting members of the logistics and manufacturing chain, in particular, in the automotive industry. The article describes research and development in the field of EPCIS systems and experience of a RFID laboratory in the field of EPCIS, summarizing the steps achieved in the first year of the project.

Abstract: The goal of this article is to present the conceptual model of RFID technology integration with manufacturing information and control system. Offered ideas are motivated to achieve seamless connection between automatic identification of parts on the shop floor level and CAD/CAM/MES and ERP system. The mentioned connection could be accomplished by use of RFID technology to transfer data from shop floor level into MES environment. Modern CAD/CAM systems such as NX provide wide possibilities for generating electronic reports, such as operation lists, setup instruction, tool report, according to own customization. Therefore, the process of shop floor documentation creation in html format is described in this paper as well.

Abstract: Intermodal transport is a topical and important problem in Europe. Although huge of goods is transported by road, there is increased demand for freight transport. A combination of transport modes using universal containers is one of the solutions proposed: this is known as intermodal transport. The paper deals with the importance of RFID technology for the development of intermodal transport and it answers some of the crucial questions regarding its application. Also paper is focused on goods security and how the RFID technology could prevent some of the risks.

Abstract: Quick and easy identification is now at the forefront with producers, transporters, dealers as well as other subjects who need to process large amounts of information in real time as quickly as possible. That is why constantly increasing attention is being paid to automatic identification of objects (AIO). AIO is a fairly broad term that refers to technologies enabling machines to identify real objects. AI is also associated with automatic data acquisition. The technologies should subsequently increase efficiency, reduce errors in recording data and thus free up staff to perform tasks with higher added value. This article focuses on the comparison of the speed of data reading from the "classic bar code" and data recorded by radio frequency identification (RFID).

Abstract: Reverse Logistics is an important part of the tasks entrusted to local government. Under the new legal requirement, it is necessary to adapt the existing solutions to new requirements and regulations. Deliberate use of RFID and GPS systems, that monitor and logistics management of municipal waste, and thus overseeing the amount of waste and their logistics.

Abstract: In order to realize the real-time and effective supervision ofconstructors’unsafe behavior, we put forward to apply RFID technology to thereal-time supervision of unsafe behavior.According to the analysis of factorsthat influence constructors’ unsafe behavior in the process of theconstruction, using the functionof RFID technology for information storage andreal-time location,so as to build subsystem based on static factors andsubsystem based on dynamic factors. We apply this system to realize real-time supervisionof constructors’ unsafe behavior. This technical method solves the deficiency oftraditional management methods ignoring constructors’ internal factors and letsreal-time supervision come true. In the end,it could improve safety managementperformance in construction site.

Abstract: A new type of silicon semiconductor temperature sensor applied for RFID tag chip is designed based on the linear temperature characteristic of base-emitter voltage of parasitic substrate PNP transistor. A novel switched capacitor integrator based on positive-negative synchronous integration is introduced to amplify the weak temperature signal precisely and provide a method to represent the temperature in analog domain. Temperature quantization is accomplished by a 12-bit ultra-low-power successive approximation analog-to-digital converter providing a resolution of 0.03125°C/LSB. The circuit was simulated by using device model of 0.18-μm CMOS process. The output integration swing is 2VPP and the average current dissipation is 38.91μA at 1.8V supply. The sensor achieves an accuracy of -0.1°C to +0.33°C in the temperature range of -39°C to 89°C.
