Abstract: The aim of the paper is focused on the analysis of the stress measurement in the railway substructure in the turnout with the movable frog prototype designed for a high speed. The evaluations were compared the measurement and the results obtained with theoretical presumptions. The Discrete Wavelet Transformation for the decomposition of the stress measurement and its evaluation is described. Two sections in the turnout with the movable frog were used for the measurement and signal analysis.

Abstract: Traditional carrying equipment that is being still used in polish railway system for dozens of years is based on typical steel profiles with low mechanical strength, low corrosion resistance and also with poor assembly and adjustment possibilities. Major part of other overhead railway equipment like support constructions, trolley wires and current carrying equipment is now modernized leaving the carrying system one of the lasts that needs to be redesigned and optimized to meet nowadays requirements for high speeds of railway travel. For that direct reason a project was started to conduct research works on design and development of the new type of railway overhead carrying equipment with enhanced exploitation properties. Within this articles authors presented a complete set of research results including designing of first concepts, FEM simulation and experimental research results including tests on final geometries in actual railway traffic. Performed studies and design works allowed to obtain an innovative overhead railway carrying system which is based on 6082 aluminum alloy and new geometry of used profiles and connection system.

Abstract: In this paper it was performed curve negotiation analysis of three axle bogie of locomotive type JŽ 461. This locomotive has large distance between first and middle i.e. middle and last axle, which leads to increased lateral forces during curve negotiation. Final result might be widening of track gauge in curves with small radius. This paper points that Infrastructure Manager must take into account vehicle performances and type of track when defines track gauge in curves.

Abstract: The bogie frame, which is used on LDE 060-DA locomotives, will be the subject of this paper. The method of analyzing its static behavior includes two static structural simulations. The first simulation is performed with SolidWorks while the second one is performed with Ansys. The simulations steps and the related assumptions will be explained in details. Finally the two sets of results gained from both simulations are compared to draw out final conclusions.

Abstract: LPG are potentially harmful to people and environment due to their toxic ingredients, especially in the course of load-and-unload. In this work, based on the fault tree and Gaussian plume model, we develop a risk assessment model for the railway transportation of LPG in the course of load-and-unload. This model can take into consideration the features may lead to explosion accident and their impact. At the same time, when the leakage of LPG leads to explosion accident, the model can determine the longest distance in the harmful explosion and the harmful explosion area quantitatively. With application of the case, a risk assessment model for the LPG in the course of loading and unloading is presented.

Abstract: Curve adjusting is an important part in the railway maintenance and plays a major role in the railway safe operations. To meet the requirements of calculating versine in the lining and lifting work carried out by the tamping wagon, this paper proposes an approach for modelling the track curve and an algorithm for calculating the versine of any point in the rectangular coordinate system. The model and the algorithm are both verified and proved.

Abstract: As a statically indeterminate structure, trough girder and arch composite bridge has a complex internal stress, especially the arch foot. The foot is influenced with the thrust of arch rib, the tension of girder and the supporting force. The trough girder section has a serious steric effect due to the poor torsional capacity. Therefore, the stress characteristics of the railway trough girder and arch composite bridge are more complicated. The main research introduces the details of the arch foot of the trough girder and arch composite bridge of Ningqi Railway over Hutong Railway. The finite element program MIDAS/Civil has been adopted to establish a full three-dimensional model and ANSYS has been adopted to establish an elaborate FEM model of the bridge.

Abstract: In order to ensure traffic safety, strengthen the comprehensive management of signal device and detect the use quality of railway signal equipment. We have done some research. Through analyzing the organization structure and feature of recent computer monitoring system, using the latest information and computer network technology. We propose a new system, whose performance and function are better than now. The result of analysis shows that networking style effect the performance of system, the combine of star and cycle style can make the system take advantage of the network resource better. Proper configuration of protocol can ensure the quality of communication among each layer and internal of each layer.

Abstract: Under the good developing environment offered by China's macroeconomic policies, modern logistics has become an important power of the economy development. Meanwhile, as the national economic artery and important infrastructure and popular transportation, railway plays a vital role in China’s economic and social development. Therefore, to effectively promote the development of national economy, as one essential link of modern logistics, railway should comply with the development characteristics and direction of modern logistics. This paper proposes that railway should adapt to the large scale development trend of modern logistics on the premise of ensuring the social benefits and obtaining the people's accreditation, and develop railway’s diversification management strategy to expand railway market gradually based on the actual needs of the market. This paper put forward three aspects, they are necessity, unique principles and main strategies which offered for carrying out railway’s diversification management strategy.
