Abstract: Quality defects and diseases will happen to railway tunnel after it in operation four to five years later, such as lining split, water leakage and landslide of second lining. Based on the case of Goujiagou tunnel located at Ⅳ surrounding rock with mudstone and sandstone, the regulation for this tunnel is put forward; the causes and characteristics of all kinds of defects are analyzed by studying on the particularity of railway tunnel construction. Based on different extend of injury, the classification of the same type defect is proposed. Research results indicate that the regulation design is feasible and the treating technique is appropriate by using new technology, methods and materials. The results will provide reference to design for the same type tunnel regulation.

Abstract: This paper mainly deals with the structural design of high speed railway tunnel and its driving method in abrupt slope with loose rockmass, meanwhile summarizes the connection between tunnel portal and bridge abutment in loose rockmass according to complicated landform and geology. The anti-slide piles are adopted to retain the stability of abrupt slope near the tunnel portal. In order to eliminate the risk and cost in tunnel construction, four bench cut method is invented to satisfy the safe excavation of loose rockmass in the tunnel. Composite fiber rockbolt is also employed to keep the stability of working face while driving the tunnel. The innovative tunneling method presented in the paper can be applied to guide the rational design and economical construction of high speed railway tunnels in loose surrounding rock under harsh geological conditions.

Abstract: Considering three contact states of good contact, containing weak interlayer and water, containing weak interlayer but no water, a series of cyclic triaxial compression tests of soft rock-concrete samples for investigation the dynamic deformation behaviors are carried out. The influence of contact states on dynamic properties of combination samples is analyzed based on the dynamic stress-strain curves and accumulative strain curves. The results show that changing the contact states has notable effects on the dynamic strain of the samples. Comparing with the good contact sample, the accumulative strain of the sample containing weak interlayer is about 2 times. The amplitude of the sample vibration increases, while the accumulative strain reduces with the increase of the vibration frequency. It can be noted that the measures such as assuring construction quality, removing weak interlayer and water, keeping good contact state between bedrock and tunnel structure can reduce the settlements and improve the tunnel service life.

Abstract: The wet sprayed concrete technique has good virtue of improving the working condition within the tunnel, fewer reflective concrete loss and higher sprayed concrete quality. The concrete mixed with polypropylene fiber could improve the concrete inner structure, the flexural strength, tensile strength and anti-penetrating ability. The application of the wet sprayed polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete in the construction of tunnel lining structure could improve the stability of tunnel rock mass. The nonlinear finite element analysis is performed on rock mass stability of the railway tunnel lining structure and the rock mass stability is analyzed both for the un-lining tunnel and the lining tunnel. The computation result shows that the rock mass plasticity zone distribution with the lining structure is fewer than that without lining structure. To measure the deformation behavior, tunnel deformation measurement sensors are installed in the railway tunnel transverse section. The measured railway tunnel deformation result also shows that the lining structure deforms little and the rockmass is in stable state.
