Abstract: The objective of a project is to make an integrated technological solution to assist and help companies in their hiring process. We have come up with the concept for prioritization of candidates using automated behavioural interview. This is a web-based portal that will be supporting the recruitment operations by prioritizing candidates from a large pool of candidates based on skills and experiences relevant to the job. Facilitating an informed interview process for a candidate with systematic transparent procedure. Our project aims to apply our technical skills to facilitate interviewers and address the challenges faced by the organization in its hiring process. This has been addressed using recording the answers of random behavioural questions with limited time to prepare, then video will be analysed to find the behavioural aspect of the candidate. Behavioural analysis of the interview is done by applying facial emotion recognition based on VGG Net Architecture.

Abstract: In recent discussions on the evaluation methodology of different aspects of building performance, the idea of so-called prescriptive indicators was proposed. These indicators are simple benchmark values of a building, and do not require any complex calculation or simulation. They are regularly based on certain design parameters pertaining to geometric or semantic aspects of the building, such as compactness and mean weighted U-value. Their purpose – amongst others – is to equip building planners with a very quick method to estimate the performance of their building designs in early design stages and to categorize its performance. Moreover, such prescriptive indicators could be considered an alternative concept to the current practice of energy certification in Europe. The energy certificate calculation methodologies in most countries did increase in complexity in the past years. As a result, the issuing of energy certificates has become a time-consuming and cumbersome process. Moreover, the quality of results of energy certificates became questioned in recent years due to uncertainties connected to input data assumptions and widely interpretable guidelines regarding the issuing. Prescriptive indicators, if their derivation is properly documented, can at least mitigate the issue regarding issuing guidelines due to their simple character. A important research question, however, is the relation between key performance indicators, which are the results of energy certification or building performance simulation, and prescriptive indicators. This contribution suggests a methodology based on rank comparison that might help to identify prescriptive indicators that are similar in their sensitivity on design changes as certain key performance indicators are.

Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present some aspects about Onicescu multi-criteria decision method and its application in decision problems regarding environmental quality. The mentioned method is applied to an air pollution problem, namely a problem in which we want to rank the counties from a certain region with respect to a complex air quality characteristic, a characteristic which incorporates all the most important air pollutants that exist in the considered region. Both variants of this method are applied in this paper and a comparison study between them is also made.

Abstract: With the rapid development of various media forms in modern society and the rise of various means of communication, the media pattern has already had dramatic changes. Increasingly convenient means of communication have brought a large amount of information for the mass public and the society. To help the public better analyze the current situation and trends in the media industry, we have proposed different rating systems for different segments of the media industry, and then we give each system corresponding emphasis and calculate its assessment index, and finally use the ranking list to present an objective analysis of the results. A set of precise rating system has been established based on the method of fuzzy mathematics and analytical hierarchy process in this paper. The target field of broadcasting and television is ranked accurately according to the ranking system combined with the advice of the senior in the media industry and researcher. The result of the ranking can make a reference to the current situation and trend of broadcasting and television industry and make a long-term guide for future planning and development of the industry.

Abstract: Base on the quantitative risk evaluation, the dangerous device risk is described by potential life loss. Potential life loss assessment and risk ranking of 71 hazards device in 8 factories of a petrochemical enterprise, shows that refinery and olefin plant risk, diesel hydrodewaxing unit and diesel hydrogenation unit risk is relative to the front in their respective categories’ risk ranking. The research results can be used to direct the relevant government departments or enterprises to prioritize hazard supervision and management, optimize the allocation of resources and improve the efficiency of management.

Abstract: Cross efficiency evaluation is an effective method for ranking decision marking units in data envelopment analysis (DEA) and can be performed with different secondary goals. This paper proposes new alternative models and algorithm for DEA cross efficiency evaluation to provide more methodological options for the decision marker to choose then. The model is illustrated with examples.

Abstract: In evaluation and decision-making, for an object system with multiple attributes and indicators, it is a typical pattern to calculate an assessment value on each object using some methods to get the ranking of objects, so as to choose the best according to sorting result of the values. The paper establishes the evaluation ranking model on the basis of multi-user attribute comprehensive evaluation method which focuses on how to give a comprehensive evaluation on objects taking the users’ preferences on different attributes in an evaluation group into account, and thereby produce evaluation values and sorting results of objects.Simulation verifies the ranking model in evaluation and decision-making.

Abstract: In this paper, EU smart city evaluation system is introduced, and every index and its characteristic is explained particularly. Smart city construction of foundation is created by innovation. They emphasized green, low carbon economy and lifestyle and encouraging public participation, advocate social forces to participating in urban development. From the ranking result, it is known that the EU smart city construction has the following characteristics: The level of EU smart city development is not balanced. Smart move, smart people and the smart life is better overall development. The development of the city itself is not balanced.

Abstract: Since millions of documents are available on the Internet, some documents contain similar content but they are written in different languages by various authors. Unfortunately, the existing search engines do not support to all documents that are relevant to a single language query. Therefore, several researchers have put a huge effort to overcome such a problem. The major problems of a cross language search engine include 1) how to store information in a unify model and represent information of multiple languages documents effectively and 2) how to rank the retrieved multiple language documents and present to a user in the right order. This paper overcomes the first problem using an ontology model and we present a new ranking technique for a cross language information retrieval system (CLIR). Keyword weighting scheme in an ontology and document sections are introduced. Cosine similarity formula is modified to particularly support CLIR. The experimental results show the modified formula obtains more efficient ranking results than the existing method.

Abstract: The full text retrieval system can receive constant feedback in the form of user behavior. In the case of a search engine, each user will immediately provide information about how much he likes the results for a given search by clicking on one result and choosing not to click on the others. This paper will look at a way to record when a user clicks on a result after a query, and design a Click-Tracking Network. Then training it with BP neural networks to intelligently improve the rankings of the results for users. Finally, we implement a search and ranking system content-based ranking and improve the search and ranking with neural network. By experiments we have shown good results.
