Abstract: The successful rationalization of production and the subsequent formation of assembly-line production in the footwear industry has evolved from its deepest post-war economic crisis. People who needed to produce the best quality shoes at a reasonable price demanded changes in the system of production and sales. Rationalization introduced in the manufacture of footwear used modern machines that were scientifically and optimally distributed in manufacturing processes. Proceedings of the race was comprehensively carried out according to the production plans from raw material to the sale of final products in stores. The whole system was characterized by a struggle against all losses and defects, against wasting time, energy and material either of an individual or a team work.

Abstract: The principle of reasonable modeling method using NX software was studied. The two modeling modes including history mode and history-free mode of NX were introduced. It was important that 3D model was created in reasonable method, so it was easy to modify the model and reduce the possibility of error when it was updated. The method ensuring relativity and parameterization of model by choosing correct modeling strategy was expatiated. In the end, the process of reasonable model creation is analyzed through a practice case.

Abstract: Architectural designing, creating new form and often unknown structural assemblies, is, we argue, distinct from structural engineering approaches that focus on the dimensioning of members in well-understood kinds of assemblies. Based on a review of compositional approaches, we offer in this paper an appraisal of the dominant educational approaches in structural engineering and architectural design. Based on current trends in both professions, we anticipate a future that sees architectural and structural engineering responsibilities no longer strictly separated but collaboratively integrated, in a way that harnesses benefits of specialist expertise, yet–somewhat reminiscent of the role of the medieval master builder–recognizes the need for generalist awareness and oversight required to achieve architectural and structural innovation. From this position, we propose a learning approach for architectural students that focuses less on rote learning and calculation and emphasizes applied learning through model building and the development of "structural commonsense" through the detailed study of precedent case studies.

Abstract: The theoretical defects of conventional Janbu method are systematically analyzed in this study. On the basis of these theoretical analyses, three inequalities are brought up to rationalize the results of inter-slice shear force, the point of inter-slice normal force and the point of normal force on slip line. The new iteration formulas of rationalized Janbu method are deduced and the process of rationalized upper bound solution is given out. The results of the example given in the end show that the rationalized Janbu method can distinctly improve the results’ reasonableness, and can work out the corresponding reasonable thrust line. And the results of rationalized Janbu method under given safety factor can provide relatively reasonable slipping force and slipping moment for reliability design of reinforcing slope.

Abstract: In product configuration of mass customization, the structure of product family is one of the key factors which affecting the efficiency of configuration. Applying complex network theory and algorithm to mass customization field, a structure network of product family is constructed. The evolving rule of used number of class module variation with the number of product is obtained. The instantiation module number contained by a class module variation with the number of product is obtained. The evolving rule of used number of instantiation module variation with the number of product is obtained. A structural rationalization method of product family is presented. As an example, all methods are applied to a steam turbine product family, and the methods are verified.
