Abstract: In the ground test of inertial navigation algorithm, it is a typical method to use a turntable with high speed and precision to rebuild the air angular motion. As to the difficulty of building a big overload environment in which to get more real output of accelerometers, the method of using current injection to control its output is put forward in this article. Correlation models are established to control the current source card. At the end of the article, there is a brief analysis about real-time performance and precision of current injection.

Abstract: Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test is an effective platform for developing and testing complex real-time systems and allows the engineer to examine units or equipments with greater test coverage compared to physical testing alone. Expensive and unique electro-hydraulic servo systems, which are applied in Hydraulic Gap Adjustment Systems in Hot Rolling Mills, are hard to test in different operating conditions, but a HIL test system can provide this examinations. In this paper a HIL test environment is presented which can be used to observe the dynamic behavior of the Hydraulic Gap Adjustment System.

Abstract: Hexapod walking robot is a complex electromechanical system with many degrees of freedom. Six legs ensure robot’s stability as at least three legs are always on the ground but require more effort in order to synchronize them for a successful locomotion. In this paper, we present a method that allows calculate feet trajectories in real-time and online. This method enables to select different gaits and their parameters.

Abstract: Simulative training should include network simulation in information age, and network simulation needs to meet the real-time requirements. For the real-time implementation of Tactical Internet (TI) simulation, the paper proposed a "water-wave type" topology updating method for simulation, which solved the real-time problem of tactical radio network topology updating simulation. Secondly, the paper proposed a data packet transmission method based on characteristic information, which solved the large data problem of TI simulation, and then the real-time of simulation was improved. Finally, the paper proposed a transmission success-rate calculating method based on prediction, which solved the real-time simulation problem of transmission. The practical application proved that the paper’s methods had good effect.

Abstract: This paper studies a variable rate optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Network (OFDM-PON) real-time access system model, using the signal processing method of oversampling. The basic principle of the model is that the access system uses different oversampling rates according to the allocated bandwidth to different Optical Network Units (ONUs), ensuring that the entire system can utilize the existing hardware conditions to maximum effect. The proposed system uses Xilinx V5 FPGA to generate real-time OFDM signals. MATLAB software is used to recover the signals and calculate the bit error rate (BER). The simulation results are presented and analyzed to verify the performance of the system.

Abstract: Utility monitoring system plays a vital role for consumers in domestic areas to identify their electric power usage, thus creates awareness, motivates and educates consumers about saving power consumption. This paper develops a monitoring system for electric power usage, designed consisting of a digital meter, display unit, microcontroller, auto-generated data-based logging and communication device. The system is in real-time structure which measures the power usage by hourly basis and displays the results in kWh every time in convenient and organized manner. The data-based logging feature enables utility usage information to be recorded in timely basis. An additional feature provided in this system is a notification module that send charges information corresponding to consumer’s utility usage. Consumers are able to be aware of the utility usage with the corresponding charges at real-time basis as well as capable to predict, control and manage their utility usage on daily manner. Eventually this system is beneficial for both parties which are the consumers and the utility provider.

Abstract: In order to solve the real-time problem in the background motion compensation in video sequence, a kind of quick background motion compensation algorithm based on BRISK operator has been proposed in this paper. Firstly, feature points of two adjacent frames images was extracted and matched by using BRISK operator. Secondly, the motion vector of the neighboring frames images was calculated by using the least square method (LSM). Lastly, the video sequences were compensated by using bilinear interpolation method. The simulation results show that real-time can arrive at ms grade and meet the requirement of background motion compensation.
