Abstract: The amount of products for smart homes and the heterogeneous standards interconnecting them is overwhelming. Consequently, choosing the most suitable technical solution according to the resident’s lifestyle is often confusing. In this paper, we propose an ontology to support the planning process of a scenario based personalized smart home (SH). The way that heterogeneous SH components, e.g. sensors, devices and appliances, are represented by our ontology is described. The design process based on this concept includes an assignment between user-specific scenarios and possible technical solutions. Finally, we show the scenario-based utilization of our approach.

Abstract: This paper provides a method to fuse the suggestions from multi-agents ,which stand for the physicians, the guardians and the elderly. Because the background among the agents is quite different, an extended model is proposed for the formalization of knowledge from different domain. Furthermore the reasoning rules which have the same form are also given for agents to argue. Based on the representation and reasoning rules, the monitoring task can be achieved for reasonable guidance for the elderly.

Abstract: There are different methods and techniques for representing ontology domain, and each domain is bound with one suitable language that can support the ideology and methods based on the way we choose to represent them, which also depends upon the nature of the data we intends to use. So as we move on, the big question is that “how can we represent data based on events’ entities or multimedia data using object ontology, for what extends does the two common ontology languages OWL and RDF/RDF's support multimedia data ” and how do we infer the media ontology. Those questions are reasonable and acceptable. In this paper, we introduce the basic principles to construct and express media data using ontology techniques, we also examine the capability of OWL in standardizing the rules and restriction based on the media ontology data and finally, we introduces a reasoning module as a solution for the OWL model to support multimedia data during the query and inferencing of media ontology

Abstract: The crossover of the building of the BDI model and the Agent model helped to materialize the formation of the BDI-Agent model, strenthening the theoretical basis of the intelligent control field. According to recent studies about the equipment support decision making, relative research of the model of BDI-Agent with feedback has made less works. The research on the equipment support decision making BDI-Agent with feedback is an exploration of the study of the BDI-Agent model, On basis of the recommendation of the development of the BDI-Agent model and its primary data structures, brings up a kind of idea about the BDI-Agent model with feedback. To prove the feasibility of the idea, brings out a background, what is the moment when the equipment supporter meets a firethreaten during carrying out a mission, sets up a feedback condition. By means of programming the rationality of the BDI-Agent model with feedback is verified.

Abstract: This study uses Grey relational analysis (GRA) to evaluate a portion of the algebraic reasoning that uses multiple-representation of the life situation of multiple-representations. Current results of this study not only identify the easiest and hardest questions for students, but also show how proposed GRA provides a novel approach to educational testing.

Abstract: Aiming at the limitations of traditional reliability analysis theory in multi-state system, a method for reliability modeling and assessment of a multi-state system based on Bayesian Network (BN) is proposed with the advantages of uncertain reasoning and describing multi-state of event. Through the case of cell production line system, in this paper we will discuss how to establish and construct a multi-state system model based on Bayesian network, and how to apply the prior probability and posterior probability to do the bidirectional inference analysis, and directly calculate the reliability indices of the system by means of prior probability and Conditional Probability Table (CPT) . Thereby we can do the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the multi-state system reliability, identify the weak links of the system, and achieve assessment of system reliability.

Abstract: In this paper, the information granule based on granular computing is discussed, the granular computing formula of IS (Information System) uncertainties reasoning based Rough and its processes have been proposed. The fish disease diagnostic information data are fuzziness, randomness and uncertainties in the field of aquaculture. The logical reasoning algorithms are described using fuzzy decision table, which is composed of the condition attributes granules formed by the fish disease symptoms sets and decision granules formed by the fish diseases sets. This method is that fish disease diagnostic rules acquisition process, not only can promote the development of granular computing theory application, but also provide a new method for fish disease diagnosis.

Abstract: In the process of information semantic integration for product design and manufacturing, it is very important to express the product information semantic. Description logics (DLs) are a family of state-of-the-art knowledge representation languages, and a decidable subset of first-order logic. Firstly, by analyzing the characteristics of product information, proposed a semantic information description framework based on description logics for product information integration, which is divided into three levels: basic description logic, classic extended logic and unusual extended logic. Then, in the framework, reducer was taken for example to illustrate the application of their description logic in product design and manufacturing formal semantic information. Finally, based on description logic, discussed reasoning problems of product design and manufacturing information.

Abstract: Cognitive radio is seen as an intelligent wireless communication system that can learn and adapt the surrounding environment. Cognitive engine is the core component of implementation of cognitive radio. Information in knowledge base of cognitive engine can be obtained by using of machine learning. In this work, we consider wireless networks with clustered nodes and OFDM physical layer and present a combined sub-channel selection and modulation and coding rate selection based on k-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm. Computer simulation results show that, in frequency selective fading channel, the scheme makes a new network node easy to choose appropriate modulation and coding rate.
