Abstract: Concrete exposed to high temperature considerably changes its properties down to total destruction. The paper describes renovation of concrete floor damaged by a fire of a factory building. Individual steps of determination of damage of concrete floor structures caused by high temperatures are described. Structure of damaged floor was technically analyzed, redevelopment was designed and renovation works were carried out.

Abstract: There is strong demand for redevelopment of the sites of industrial enterprises having been shut down or relocated (hereinafter referred to as industrial contaminated sites) due to its good geographical location. Direct development of contaminated sites without any remedy and restoration will bring prominent risks of environmental security, health and society. The government must pay high attention to this issue. This paper analyzes environmental risks and relevant supervision departments in different links of the process from relocation to redevelopment of industrial sites. Based on these, this paper presents the whole-process mechanism for prevention and control of environmental risks of the relocation, flow (land use change) and post-flow stages involving several government departments such as industry & information department, national land department, housing and construction department and environmental protection department. This study could provide an important reference to the establishment of effective joint supervision mechanism for redevelopment of contaminated industrial sites in China.

Abstract: This paper will explain a new approach to project. I want with this thesis project to give an example of sustainable and urban regeneration. I began by the theme of thesis that I have chosen after analysis of the territory. I want to realize a Specialized Health Care Center. I would give a sustainable service to the community. The whole building has been designed in its entirety. The project is composed by four elements: a park and three little residences for families. All has been thought for a sustainable life.

Abstract: First, unearth the connotation of well-being of peoples livelihood in the re-development of urban old settlements, to discuss the ways of achieving housing rights based on the concept of well-being of peoples livelihood and analyze the necessity of re-development of urban old settlements under well-being of peoples livelihood. Based on the above research, follow the goal and principle of well-being of peoples livelihood, explore the ways of returning well-being of peoples livelihood to homing position in the re-development of urban old settlements, and guarantee the realization of housing right of residents to promote the equitable distribution of social resources for housing in re-development.

Abstract: In the redevelopment of current old urban housing area, the benefits and living needs of the disadvantaged are neglected and the problems of space disorder, unbalanced interests, context deconstruction and wasting of resources are prominent. Starting from peoples livelihood happiness, the author discusses the connotation and meaning of peoples livelihood happiness, analyzes the problems of existing in the redevelopment of current old urban housing area, and then proposes the thinking on redevelopment of old urban livelihood housing area under this value guidance, that is to adhere to the core objective of people-first and paying attention to happiness perception and benefit realization of the disadvantaged.

Abstract: This paper redevelops Rhino based on the Rhino script and extracts three kinds of bounding boxes (i.e. cuboid, cylinder and sphere) of product fission model, and calculates the optimal parameters of fission bounding boxes with the aid of the GUI interface built by MATLAB. The software of prototype reconstruction of product forms is developed by the use of VB.NET, which can reconstruct the product form prototype through the product CAD model. In the end, the system validity is tested and verified by the practical example of a chargeable electrical drill.

Abstract: The experience in building practice proves that in assessing and evaluating the state of reinforced concrete structures, also professional companies place a clear emphasis mainly on determining the strength characteristics of concrete, assessing the rate of corrosion and the distribution of reinforcements in assessed elements. Obtaining these data is essential for the structural analysis of a structure. However, from the view of a complex evaluation of the state of structures, this information is quite insufficient, for example because of fully omitting the evaluation of the state or rate of degradation of concrete by action of chemically aggressive substances from the outside environment. For example, it is not possible to predict further life of a structure in a relevant manner on the basis of facts only found out by testing the strength characteristics of concrete.

Abstract: [Purpose] To solve problems for lack of the design system for the trellis screen protective device, a general-purpose design system is required to perform structural design and make budget on materials required. [Method] Visual Basic and SolidWorks redevelopment technologies are used to develop this design system, where the user interface and dimensions of parts can be used to update 3D models for parts and assemblies; also, budget can be made on materials required for making the device. [Results] This system is proven to be able to greatly improve the design quality and efficiency. [Conclusion] This system has combined update of 3D models and material budget and will provide reference for other design systems in aspects of design flow and design methods.

Abstract: The Mitsubishi plant at Tonsley Park site had been closed in Adelaide. Determining how to reuse the site and how to redevelop the economic became important problems. The history and existing conditions of the site were introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of this site were analyzed to redevelop the district and reuse the old industrial buildings. The Adelaide government planned to change it into a renewable energy hub. Hopefully the paper can bring some enlightenment and inspiration for those who are facing similar conditions.

Abstract: This paper introduces a new technology using a new mathematics model to solve the blending problem of two or more kinds of minerals, which grades are very different even in orders of magnitude, and creates a blending system which can produce an optimal program of blending automatically using a feedback process based on Surpac, a mining software, and achieves a real time truck dispatching system finally. All of above can improve quality and quantity of the minerals blending stably, that has been proved in practice. According 2001s record, this system had the Cu grade amplitude down from 10.54% to 3.72% and the Mo grade amplitude from 6.49% to 3.11%.
