Abstract: The effect of carbon addition on the hot rolling behavior of as-cast AZ31 alloy was investigated. It is found that the carbon addition can refine the as cast grain size of the AZ31 alloy to 140μm. The edge cracking occurrence on the surface during hot-rolling of the AZ31 alloy was practically eliminated by the grain refinement. Based on the microstructure examination during the hot rolling, the improvement in rollability of the carbon added AZ31 alloy is attributed to the more homogeneous DRX process during hot rolling, which can distribute and effectively absorb strain energy and prohibit crack growth.

Abstract: Because of the structure of the CANDIDE model is simple and the quantity of its marginal gridlines is small, an obvious marginal trace would appear while the face changed. In view of this, this paper proposed a method which refined the facial outline gridlines to improve the effect of facial transformation. Firstly, the feature point of the pupil is set to enhance the location veracity of the model, then 44 key feature points are chosen to represent the information of the basic facial features. The face matching is realized by ASM algorithm, then fit and refine the extracted contour line personalized to enhance the expressive force of the model of CANDIDE-3. Experimental results show that the result of facial transformation has been optimized. The effect of the transformation is optimized on the premise of the computation speed is guaranteed, and the result looks more naturally.

The article also puts forward a variety of refining method for smelting process impurities and exhaust gas, It’s ensure that the qualified rate of alloy materials. In order to further improve the performance of magnesium alloy, the introduction of the modification treatment will make alloy grain refinement.Superfine grain organization will effectively improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of magnesium alloys.

Abstract: This paper presents a fusion algorithm for image edge detection based on the mathematical morphology and the NSCT. First the de-noised image is processed by the multi-structure elements of the mathematical morphology. And then the processed image is decomposed by the NSCT into multi-scale and multi-directional sub-bands. Edges in the high-frequency sub-bands are extracted with the dual-threshold modulus maxima method. Finally the edges of the de-noised image are refined into a single pixel edge image. The simulation results show that this method can effectively suppress noise, eliminate pseudo-edges, locate accurately and detect the complete outline.

Abstract: Based on feature of low-sulphur steel smelting in PanGang, in terms of optimizing desulfurization technology, reducing resulfurization in converter steelmaking, optimizing desulfurization in LF molten steel refining process and developing RH molten steel refining desulfurization technology. The sulphur content of hot metal can be controlled no more than 0.003%, and that of terminal molten steel can also be controlled no more than 0.005%, which makes the production of low-sulphur steel come true, and the technology route of such steel smelting be established.

Abstract: For the improvement of processing and the increase of refined products of Chinese insect wax, it was carried out on the raw wax for its refining in the pilot plants. After the treatment, it was raised the melting point and reduced the acid value, iodine value, saponification value and insoluble substances of benzene significantly. The quality of final products was accord to the industrial top-grade requirement. The yield of refined wax was ranging from 72.76% to 74.30% and the whiteness was 51.8% to 56.3%. It was not observed any chemical changes of the wax during the processing.

Abstract: The corrosion behavior during friction of refined bio-oil by distillation process was evaluated by high frequency reciprocating test rig. Both scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) were used to investigate the morphology and active elements contents on the rubbed surface on steel disk. The chemical structures of the oils and the topography and surface roughness of the wear scar were also studied by FTIR and surface roughness tester as well, respectively. The experimental results showed that corrosion behavior of bio-oil was improved after refining since the wear depth was 3.75µm and the worn surface roughness was 0.172µm, while they were 12.5µm and 0.217µm before refining. It was concluded that corrosion degree of worn surface was decreased after the bio-oil was refined, which was ascribed to the decrease of the acidic component content after the refining process.

Abstract: Magnetic Shape Memory Alloys(MSMA)have attracted considerable attention due to their potential application in actuators driven by temperature and magnetic field . Research on shape memory alloys found that the Heusler alloys of MSMA body-centered cubic lattice structure were occured giant strains by magnetic fields[1-4]. Japanese scholars found the new magnetic Shape Memory Alloys Ni-Mn-In and Ni-Co-Mn-In Heusler alloys completely under the control of the magnetic shape fields in 2005[5-7]. In applied MSMA fields, the Ni-Mn-In Heusler alloys start the possibility of using shape memory effect only driven by magnetic field. However, the high brittleness of polycrystalline intermetallic compounds hinders the practical use. Until now, the investigated alloys are ongoing research to resolve, the investigation was carried out to employ rapid quenching by melt spinning to produce Mn–Ni–In Heusler alloys by JLSánchez Llamazares et al [8], and the ribbons of Ni-Mn-In Heusler alloys grain preferential texture. We use the rare earth Gd to improve machining performance of the new alloys, and study the change of microstructure and magnetic properties of alloys which may be a subject of significant scientific and technological interests.
