Abstract: The first degree second order moment method (JC method) is applied to analyze the reliability of recycled aggregate concrete-filled steel tube (RACFST). Several performances are studies, which are the influences of different load combinations, specific values of loads,confinement coefficients and recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentage on the reliability of the column. It is found that the reliability index varied with the load combination and specific value of loads. The analytical results indicate that the reliability index of the round steel tube is higher than square steel tube and the influence of recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentage can almost be ignored It can be concluded that the formula had great influence on reliability index and the revised formula can meet the requirements of the ductility of structure reliability.

Abstract: In this paper, a new method which is named DRNFD for network troubleshooting is brought forward in which “abnormal degree” is defined by the vector of probability and belief functions in a privileged process. A new formula based on Dempster Rule is presented to decrease false positives. This method (DRNFD) can effectively reduce false positive rate and non-response rate and can be applied to real-time fault diagnosis. The operational prototypical system demonstrates its feasibility and gets the effectiveness of real-time fault diagnosis.

Abstract: In general it is difficult to obtain the results directly during process of structural reliability designing because of the complexity of the structure. It can calculate the structure reliability and failure probability effectively according to the combination of finite element method and theory of reliability. This paper introduces a method of structure reliability based on finite element method, summarizes a common method which has an important engineering application value to calculate the reliability such as using Monte-Carlo method to calculate reliability analysis combining with finite element method, recommends a common used software to reliability design and shows the process of using the software to reliability analysis.

Abstract: Theory of the safety ergonomics and reliability analysis was applied in this paper. Influences of port handling machinery and workers on the handling reliability were studied. For the general cargo handling process, mathematical model was put forward. According to the model, calculations were carried out to increase the working efficiency of the port handling machinery. At same time, combined with port investigation and factors affecting the operation of workers, measures were proposed to improve the safe and efficient production of the port.

Abstract: At present, the influence of implementing demand side management on generation system reliability was studied by more and more academics. Demand side management can improve energy efficiency and reduce the maximum load demand, which is equivalent to an indirect increase in power generation capacity of the system, thus can improve the reliability of generation system. This paper firstly introduced the reliability index system of generation system, then the reliability analysis model which includes generation capacity model and load model was respectively built, and then the non-sequential Monte Carlo simulation method applied in generation system reliability evaluation was analyzed. Secondly, adopted the simulation to quantify and set the IEEE reliability testing system RTS (Reliability Test System) as an example to analyze the effect of demand side management on generation system reliability evaluation, the analysis results show that the implementation of DSM can improve the energy utilization and reliability of generation system, thus the system can be more secure, economic and reliable to supply electric power for electricity users.

Abstract: Analyzing success probability of the ignition system of aviation piston engine based on GO methodology.Constructing the GO diagram of the ignition system of aviation piston engine and definites operational character types and fault rates.Using two quantification analysis methods without considering effects from the shared signal (signal generator 3),the success probabilities of the ignition system is 0.693. With considering effects from the shared signal (signal generator 3),the success probabilities of the ignition system is 0.707 by the corrected probability computing formula.so the effect from the shared signal should not be omitted.Using qualitative analysis method,the sum of the failure probability of minimal cut sets is0.780. After verification,the accuracy of reliability analysis for the ignition system using the corrected GO model with considering effects from shared signals is highest,and this GO model is applicable for reliabiliity analysis of the ignition system of aviation piston engine.

Abstract: A reliability analysis was conducted on high-strength concrete (HSC) columns during a fire. The influences of fire’s randomness and explosive spalling of concrete were investigated. The fire resistance for axial loading capacity of HSC columns was in terms of steel yield strength and concrete compressive strength with considering the effect of elevated temperatures. The load random variables included dead load and sustained live load. The JC method was applied to calculate the reliability index of the fire resistance of axially loaded HSC columns. It was found that the randomness of fire and explosive spalling of concrete had a significant influence on reliability of HSC columns.

Abstract: Reliable operation of the aircraft power distribution system is critical to the flight safety of a plane。In this paper,the reliability evaluation model of aircraft power supplying system based on Bayesian fusion is set up。 Calculating reliability indexes by using MATLAB simulation softwaer。Comparing with the traditional Bayes approach,the result shows the method is efficient。

Abstract: This paper introduced the function of the Pumped-Storage Power Station in power grid and the significance of reliability evaluation. Based on the principle of the GO method, the main electrical wiring’s reliability of the pumped-storage power station is proposed for the first time. According to the original data in references, the GO chart is established and the reliability is calculated and analyzed and evaluation indexes are put forward. The results show that the method is feasible. Finally it expounds the existing problems and shortcomings.

Abstract: Based on failure analysis of CNC lathe capstan turret and building failure tree, according to the fuzzy information provided by the users, engineers and technician, the failure rate is defined as a set of trapezoidal fuzzy number. By means of fuzzy operation, the paper determines the failure fuzzy probability of the capstan turret. By analyzing the calculation results, It proves that this method can be applied to the reliability analysis of CNC lathe capstan turret subsystem, provide a reference for modification design of the capstan turret subsystem.
