Abstract: Mild-slope equation is usually used in many simulation applications. The equation has obviously benefit which based on physical method that can present the real status of water, but the shortcoming is also clearly that the calculations spending lots of times which not support some real-time applications. We use hyperbola to simple the equation calculation process, and use alternating directions implicit (ADI) way to solve this equation. The result shows that the ADI way can use less calculation and less time to accomplish the calculation. We also use the new features of GPU(graphics process unit) to speed up the calculation so that we can render the surface in real-time application.

Abstract: Based on the characteristics of rendering phase, a performance-based policy for job assignment under Distributed Rendering Environments (DREs) is proposed. Firstly, a method of evaluating rendering nodes is designed by taking CPU ratio, RAM size, CPU occupation, RAM usage into account. Furthermore, the corresponding algorithm of job assignment for dividing rendering tasks into sub-tasks on available rendering nodes is presented. Whats more, this algorithms correctness is validated by three groups of experiments thereby which offers quantitative guide for optimal job assignment of rendering.

Abstract: 3D animation is an application of computer graphics. The factors that affect the efficiency of 3D animation include animation algorithms, 3D models, materials and textures, rendering, and LOD (level of detail). This thesis discusses these technologies separately. By using these technologies properly, we could reduce the complexity of algorithms and the overall data quantity and then enhance the efficiency of 3D animation.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the structure of the 3DS file, this paper uses recursive method to collect content of 3DS file and designs the data structure to save them. Then, reading and drawing principle for 3DS file is studied by DirectX 11. Finally, the system for reading and drawing 3DS file is designed and implemented based on DirectX11 in VS2010, and achieves better results.

Abstract: Application of three-dimensional modeling software based on rhinoceros as well as V-ray for rhinoceros in metal packaging design is introduced. The paper conducts detailed discussion on computer virtual technology featuring double-sided metal material and bump graphic effects in the process of metal packaging design, providing effective methods for designing of such packaging container and virtual demonstration.

Abstract: Based on the facts in medical images that there are many empty voxels and the near scene is more sensitive to human vision, our accelerating rendering algorithm divides the rendering process into near scene and far scene parts. An accelerated ray-casting method is adapted for rendering the near scene and a fast splatting method is adapted for rendering the far scene. The inherent coherence existed in adjacent frames is used to accelerate the navigation speed. A part of far scene of the next frame may be simply rendered by view transforming the part of far scene of the current frame.

Abstract: The use of lime plaster as a protection of building units against moisture is very common in the monument preservation, but controversially discussed. Historical buildings often demonstrate the problems of the two building materials, in particular the insufficient adherence between clay and lime in the course of time. Previous results of research brought out contradictory statements. The project especially focuses on the compressed, hydrophobic polished lime plaster Tadelakt, which can act as a protection of surfaces in wet rooms with climatically extreme conditions like increased humidity and high temperature. Reported are the results yielded in the research project which covers the investigations to improve the mechanical adherence and to analyze the chemical reaction between the both building materials.

Abstract: Virtual CNC machining is test cutting and process optimization of virtual reality before production, which overcomes defects of interferences and collisions while the real workpiece is fabricated. The 3D scenario of Virtual CNC machining system is constructed by 3DS and Open GL on VC++6.0 platform. This system mainly encompasses modules of machine modeling, simulation of virtual cutting and its control panel. Key technologies solve 3DS file reading, simulation control by Open GL back buffer and implementation of control items on control panels respectively, so practicability of CNC system is improved greatly.

Abstract: The system use surveillance camera and image rendering developed a new solar positioning system. The system’s position detection method is to use surveillance cameras captured source image, and then use rendering method to determine the location of the light source to adjust the orientation of solar cells to improve the utilization of the battery. We use existing camera filming the scene of the source image, and then the light source position will be determined. Through the back of our tracking software processing, adjusting the orientation of solar collectors, will allow maximum utilization of solar energy and provide solar tracking areas a new and reliable detection methods. This article focuses on algorithm design of the source tracking software. This article uses the prior knowledge of three-dimensional objects in the photo image to model. Priori knowledge can help us to determine all the parameter except light source location, we full traversal all the possible light source position space. After getting the rendering image, rendered image and source image will be compared through the evaluation function, thus we will get the best source location parameters.
