Abstract: In low-stress precision cropping, a method by which the tiny crack in metal bar V-shaped notch tip can be induced by resonance has been proposed. The critical loading acted on the bar is obtained. The amplitude of bar is calculated under the action of critical loading. The experiments for resonance inducing V-shaped notch tip crack is also carried out. The results show that the V-shaped notch tip can engender tiny crack under the action of resonance force.

Abstract: The “SG” is a large inertial confinement fusion (ICF) project that is building in china. Its essential working principium is stimulating the nuclear material in the target ball by shooting with laser, then the ICF will produce large numbers of fusion energy which is controllable. The laser is lead and transmited primary by mirror which is clamped by mirror frame in the shooting range system. For the needs of precision when shooting, there are some strict demands to the dynamic characteristics of the mirror frame. This paper designed a machine model of a array mirror frame which is quad intergrated, and simulation analysis on dynamic characteristics of the mirror frame .

Abstract: The paper first introduced the magnetic coupling resonance wireless power transfer system principle, the coupling model theory, etc. Through matab program, the paper could get advice system parameters according to the specific load, the needed transmission distance and transmit power of the system. These parameters give guidance to the system design, which is verified through examples.

Abstract: In order to generate low frequency acoustic wave and minish the ratio of the length to diameter, it is appropriate to instead the circular jet by annular jet as the high pressure gas power. So the larger diameter of jet and resonator are got in the condition of the same pressure and flux. Flow simulations and experiments have been performed in order to better understand the behavior of the powered resonance tube (PRT) driven by annular. Simulation and experiment results show the PRT can be excited by a annular jet, and produce low frequency high-amplitude dynamic pressures and acoustic emission. The compression wave and expansion wave transmit into and out of the resonance tube alternately in a cycle and a cycle can be decomposed to two distinct stages of filling and evacuation. In experiment PRT can work in the low frequency at very low pressure, and PRT can generate intense sound wave at frequency from 50~3200Hz.

Abstract: The steering system is one of the most important system on the Vehicle, whose reliable function is related to the motion safety of the vehicle. In this paper, taking a simplified model of a vehicle steering system as the researched object, modal analysis of the steering system was carried out based on the finite element software ANASYS. The analysis process can be used to optimize and improve the design of the steering system, and avoid the resonance between vehicle and the uneven road.

Abstract: The finite element analysis software Solidworks Simulation is used to the modal analysis of the dynamic disc of the new-type plate-rolling crusher, its natural frequency and main vibration modes of preceding five orders are obtained. The analysis results show that while the natural frequency of preceding two orders of the dynamic disc is closed to the engagement frequency of the gears of the reducer casing, resonance occurs. So corresponding measures of avoiding resonance are proposed, the study offers theoretical references for the dynamic design of the dynamic disc.

Abstract: Eddy current testing (ECT) is one of the most representative nondestructive testing methods for metallic materials, parts, structures and so on. This paper proposes improvement of sensibility of the impedance sensing type ECT. Sensibility of the ECT is improved by means of three steps. One is an optimum exciting frequency selection. We employ the natural parallel resonant frequency of ECT coil. The second is to increase the sharpness of the resonance curve on impedance versus frequency characteristic by changing the coil connection. Finally, we attach externally capacitor to reduce the resonance frequency into low. This makes it possible to enhance the sensibility of the impedance sensing type ECT operating at the resonant frequency.

Abstract: The traditional elastic theory believes that there exists normal stress in pure bending body (PBB) and shear stress in pure torsion body (PTB). However, the author proved that there is no normal stress but ‘Bent Point Moment’ (BPM) in PBB. And it also concluded that there is no shear stress but ‘Shear Point Moment’ (SPM) in PTB. This article overturns the preliminary theorems of the Elasticity Theory, which believes that the value of the moment (Bending moment & Torsion moment) on a unit area converges to zero. Just as the completely different natural frequencies of the forced vibration can lead to completely different resonant conditions. Besides, this theory has also been validated in the Damage Mechanics National Key Laboratory of Tsinghua University. Therefore, it is significant to avoid destruction produced by resonance.

Abstract: A FPEG (flexible piezoelectric generator) composed of PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) piezoelectric film, conducting resin and titanium alloy substrate, which occupies less room and produces electrical energy while the axial wind flows through the oscillator surface. When the axial wind flows through the generator surface, generator begins to vibrate and produce electrical energy, as the wind speed reaches a critical value, generator yields resonance phenomenon. In this paper, more work was placed on how the substrate structure parameters such as length, width and thickness affected the power generation capacity in resonance mode.
