Abstract: This paper reviews current literature in terms of the effect of slope walking on vertical pedestrian loading. In this review the gait style, gait parameters, and vertical pedestrian loading is reviewed. The reason why such a study was conducted is explained; and the force profiles from the authors own experimental studies are presented. From that study, two contrasting vertical force profiles exist; one for rigid walking and one for flexible walking; here possible reasons for such differences are explored.

Abstract: This paper mainly addresses a novel control law with rigidity matrix based on three co-leaders minimally persistent formations in the plane. This control law particularly considers the fault tolerance of the leaders, and in this way, the three co-leaders model is better than leader-first follower model, leader-remote follower model, etc. in persistent formation. Firstly, the first order kinematic model is adopted for every agent. Then the fundamental moving principal of the leaders and the followers are described in detail. On the basis of these principals, the control law with the rigidity matrix for the whole formation is proposed. Moreover, the stability analysis is also supplied. Finally, simulations show that the proposed controllers ensure the group formation stabilized to maintain the rigid shape, while the distances between the agents remain unchanged.

Abstract: The steel roof truss rod is widely used in Chinese building industrue, because of the reasonable force, the design and simple construction, the good economic indicators, attractive appearance and many other advantages. Based on a pin 24m steel roof truss static test research and the results, which is based on the rigid and hinged to calculate, show that the steel roof truss which has the property that the web member axis intersection point and the chord member centroid are coincident, is in a good agreement according the calculation of rigid or hinge compared with the actual stress state.

Abstract: On the basses of analyzing the defects of variable blank holder force hydraulic press on construction and its rigid being not enough,the realization of designing method,working principle,hydraulic and system for ne controlling w type upper multi-point deep drawing with variable blank—holding force controlled by computer was introduced.In order to verify the effect of application of this set up,the testing results of deep drawing a rectangular box and a cylindrical cup formed component was presented. The results show that the equipment has low cost, general in using and optimal efficient of controlling.

Abstract: Cementitious capillary crystalline waterproofing coating was developed, whose doping quantity of active substances was primarily determined by using orthogonal tests, the doping quantity of the active substances and the cement-sand ratio were optimized, and the formulation of the waterproofing coating was: 50.45% of silicate cement, 40% of quartz sand, 2.4% of assistants and 7.15% of active chemical substances. Test results showed that all the properties of the developed waterproofing coating conform to standard requirements, the bonding strength of wet substrate reached 1.8 MPa, and 28d seepage resistance reached 1.3 MPa.

Abstract: VIP (Vacuum insulation panel), as a high performance insulation component, combine with limited thickness, have recently been introduced to numerous energy conservation applications. VIP consists of a highly insulating core material and a gas tight barrier envelope which is generally composed of plastic film and aluminum film. When the envelope is stainless steel sheet, VIP is called VIS (vacuum insulation sandwich). Because of this hardly permeable rigid barrier, VIS presents more fantastic properties such as resistance against external mechanical loads and penetration of atmospheric gases and water vapor. Consequently, the service life of VIS is significantly longer than that of VIP. Detailed structure and some practical applications of VIS elements are also reviewed in this paper.

Abstract: High performance rigid cross-linked PVC foam has been prepared by molding process and boiling foam process with the main materials including polyvinyl chloride paste resin (PVC), liquefied methylene bis-phenyl diisocyanate (MDI-L) and methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride (MHHPA). The chemical structure, cellular structure and thermal properties were respectively characterized by fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). Results showed that the foam had a uniform cellular structure, and cell size was about 760μm. The glass transition temperature (Tg) was 81°C and 5% weight loss temperature (T5d) was 252°C.

Abstract: In this paper, sawdust concrete with nominal mixes 1:1:2, 1:1½:3, 1:2:4, 1:3:6 and 1:4:8 were subjected to durability test. The 28-day water absorption of the mixes are 5.69, 8.97, 8.29, 7.83 and 11.11%, 28-day linear shrinkages are 0.67, 0.50, 1.83, 1.83 and 1.95%, respectively. The 28-day thermal conductivities are 0.229, 0.232, 0.229, 0.223 and 0.176W/m.K., respectively. The 28-day compressive strengths of mixes 1:1:2 and 1:1½:3 are 18.33 and 8.78 N/mm2, respectively, while their 28-day flexural strengths are 1.71 and 1.33 N/mm2, respectively. These values indicated that they are good and durable concrete and can be used for construction of rigid pavement.
