Abstract: This paper presents an approach to the risk of information security. By taking into consideration how critical it is for a system, each category of information should be associated with a correspondent level of security risk and each level of security risk must be defined by appropriate measures to control the risks for information security. Equally important is how many levels of security risk are defined for information, or how they are classified. It is critical, however, that the model adopted reflects all the objectives that the system requires.

Abstract: In this paper, the mechanism of radio frequency (RF) causing fire and explosion directly and indirectly was recommended, studies of RF risks in flammable and explosive environments were summarized, some problems in RF risk researches recently were discussed, study prospects of RF risks in flammable and explosive environments were analyzed. The fact that the mechanisms and conditions of RF igniting combustible gases should be researched by more deeply theories and technological means, and that RF security standards should be laid down and a complete and precise RF security assessment system should be established in flammable and explosive environments was put forward.

Abstract: In the context of refurbishment projects, providing a safety and health checklist could assist in reducing noncompliance with health and safety regulations and would lead to improvement in communication between different participants in refurbishment projects. The practical checklist for refurbishment project is developed by revising current demolition checklist since there is no specific checklist applicable for refurbishment work at the moment. To achieve this target, demolition techniques, methods and accident reports on the refurbishment project is critically reviewed and investigated. A semi-structured interview based on reviewed literature and existing demolition checklist is organized which addresses a panel of Malaysian refurbishment experts and workers. The final results are provided by analyzing the response of interviewees in listing the common hazards occurring in the site and their recommendations regarding to appropriate precautions to prevent accidents in work site. Finally, refurbishment checklist is developed based on different categories of work phase, activities, precautionary actions and recommendations in which contents directly extracted from data collection and literature review.

Abstract: In this paper, the analysis of the general tendencies of line building of cottage settlement is carried out by houses. The analysis of domestic and foreign development showed that many questions connected with formation of schedules of building of objects of settlement and calculation of parameters of works taking into account restriction on resources at development of local plans of settlement by houses, now finally aren't solved. As practice of construction of settlement shows further improvement of a technique of scheduling of building of settlement by houses has to go on an alternative basis and a choice among them the most effective on economic indicators because of modern computer technologies. The calculation procedure and optimization of options of the line organization of construction of houses because of modern computer technologies is offered. The technique of a technical and economic assessment of optimizing solutions of cottage building is offered. In this paper data on application to the developed technique for scheduling of construction of houses of settlement. The developed techniques can find application when developing projects of the organization of mass building of cottage settlement by houses.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the dynamics of carbon price volatility, this article proposes to develop a combined extreme value theory and conditional variance based Value-at-Risk model (GARCH-EVT-VaR) for short-term risk measurement and estimation of the carbon spot market under the European Union Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS). The model is implied to the EUA spot market and compared with the traditional GARCH-VaR model, the empirical results show that the GARCH based model underestimates market risks by overlooking the great price shocks, but the GARCH-EVT based model has the ability to take those extreme jumps into its risk estimations.

Abstract: Congestion management is a hot point for research in power system. Optimal power flow (OPF) model is often used to solve this problem. However, the results cannot satisfy with market needing. To solve this problem, this paper presents a novel method of congestion management based on risk constraint and fuzzy optimization in electricity power markets. The risk constraint is used for transmission line thermal security instead of the traditional deterministic current or power constraint. The multi-objective functions are used to coordinate the conflict between security and efficiency of transmission network. Primal-Dual Interior Point Method (PDIPM) is adopted to solve the RBOPF problem. The method can minimize re-dispatch cost and the system operating risk.

Abstract: Manufacturing companies rely on advanced manufacturing technologies (AMT) in order to increase their competitive position in global markets. Successful implementation of AMT depends greatly on justification tools. The availability of a large amount of tools with varying complexity makes it difficult for managers to choose the most appropriate ones. This study investigates application of various justification tools for different levels of AMT integration. The results are presented in a framework for AMT justification tools selection that could be used by managers. The research also suggests further research directions.

Abstract: This paper studies landslide and background in Youyu County, Shanxi Province and provides geological bases for the economic and social development, ecological environment construction and protection. The authors investigated the environmental geological background, collected and arranged the information in this field. By analyzing Landslide-causing factors, the area is divided into four types: high susceptible area, middle susceptible are, low susceptible area, difficult susceptible area. A map of Landslide hazard susceptible degree is made, based on the studies of the quantitative indices (formation lithology, slope structure type, gradient, rainfall, slope height, engineering activities, slope deformation features, death and threatened toll, direct and indirect economic loss and so on.).And the Landslide hazard risk of the area is comprehensively assessed.

Abstract: For a correct interpretation of the results of the risk analysis are necessary correct input data. Acquisition of data can be different. For logical and numerical methods the expert risk analysis can we ensure data through questionnaires. This can serve as questionnaires experts. Acquisition of data can also be combined with methods for probabilistic analysis.
