Abstract: This paper aims to reveal the important role of the hulking force in stabilizing the roadway. After introducing the three ultimate strength of the foundation rock upon, starting from the perspective of stress state, the article on the deformation area surrounding rock for a more reasonable division, and thus gives the main factors roadway deformation.Introduced in the basis of the three ultimate strength of the rock, from the perspective of stress state, deformation of roadway surrounding rock area to carry on the reasonable division, and then the main factors of roadway deformation is presented. Second, through the analysis of the formation of the hulking force, analysis of hulking force inhibition of surrounding rock creep mechanism of dynamic mechanics,and analysis of the hulking force to improve the effect of supporting mechanics mechanism. Describes the important role of the hulking force on the stability of surrounding rock. Finally, Huaibei Coal Mining Co., 8203 guobei roadway industrial test site, Demonstrates the effectiveness of the principle. Results of this study have important reference value to change the current research in deep coal mine deep soft rock and loose seam roadway support mechanism and technology.

Abstract: Roadway occupies an important position in construction and production of a coal mine. The urgent requirement of evaluation on performance of roadway rapid excavation is emerging with development of various excavation techniques. However, shortages of current definitions and evaluation systems of rapid excavation cause to lack of effective tools in performance comparison between the techniques. The paper presents an excavation quality evaluation system based on the multiple attribute decision making theory, and gives a definition of rapid excavation. The practices show that the system is able to evaluate quality of roadway excavation technology, help companies select the most appropriate excavation method, and promote development of excavation techniques.

Abstract: Based on a roadway project of Dongqu Colliery of Xishan Coal and Electricity Group,using the geological exploration data and on-site research and referring to the theory and engineering experience, the tunnel grouting program for marl was worked out and it was revised the program in the construction. A method of grouting for soft rock in roadway construction was summarized ,getting a good results and verified by numerical simulation.

Abstract: In order to tunnel safely, efficiently and economically, we carried out the study on geostatic stress characters and optimizing bolting support parameters in 2# coalbed of Zijin Colliery. Based on the surveys of geological conditions, original rock stress, broken rock zone measurement and analysis of roadway deformation, characters and mechanism of roadway failure is figured out. According to existent problems, normal support theories were used and a variety of numerical computations were carried out by FLAC3D.New support methods of bolt installed vertically in tilted roof and strengthen support of sidewalls and corners of roadway were figured out. Monitoring of convergence meters and roof separation were followed to know effects of new design timely. The research was carried out for 600 meters The monitoring results proved that the optimized support design was viable and the new bolting parameters were reasonable.

Abstract: This paper aims to reveal the mechanical effects of metal holder and bolt (anchor) in anchor frame combination structure, then shows existing problems of anchor frame combination supporting structure being used in present coal mine, and gives corresponding solution on the basis of modern mechanics theory. By specify examples and on the basis of having administered the pull test of bolt (anchor), the article has calculated and analyzed the stress distribution rule of metal holder in anchor frame combination supporting structure according to the statically indeterminate principle in solid mechanics. In contrast to single metal holder structure, the consequence comes to be that the bearing capacity was significantly increased. However, the actual stress values of bolt (anchor) in field measurement shows that the bearing capacity of bolt (anchor) has hot been given full work. So the essay not only reveals the good bearing capacity of anchor frame combination structure but also points out that there is plenty of scope for optimization in anchor frame combination structure, and its research results have a certain reference for supporting theory and technology research in deep level and high ground pressure soft rock roadway.

Abstract: Set pair analysis is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods used in decision-making. Aiming at the irrelevance of each indicator, an evaluation model of bolt and wire mesh support scheme of roadway based on set pair analysis is set up and a relativity to optimal scheme which combines multiple indicators as well as its set pair situation are applied to describe the comprehensive benefits of bolt and wire mesh support scheme. Evaluation results of three optional support schemes in a mine of Yaojie Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd are obtained using this method, and an optimal scheme with the best comprehensive benefits is determined.

Abstract: Using ANSYS finite element analysis software, the crushing effect and wall rock deformation of a small high-pressure jet impacting coal were given numerical simulation analysis. It verified that impacting increased exposed area of coal in punch, providing conditions for pressure relief of internal coal seam and gas seepage. through comprehensive analysis of the rock stress and coal displacement of different roadway models after undercutting, it was determined that aperture size was 4/15 or so of roadway floor length, thus roadway fissures developed full, and maintained rock integrity, in favor of speeding up the face driving.

Abstract: The FLAC-3D software was used to study the surrounding rock displacement and the side abutment pressure distribution laws about roadway in thick coal seam. Based on this model, through change the mining height, working face length and mining depth, the differences of roadway underground pressure characteristics were analyzed between thick coal seam working face and normal working face. The results indicate that: ①the displacement of roadway surrounding rock increases with the increase of mining depth and mining height, the closer to the coal wall the larger of the increase range of roadway displacement. ②the peak of side abutment pressure increases with the increase of mining depth and mining height, the peak district of the stress will move toward the inner department of rock body. ③ the effect of working face length on the roadway displacement and the side abutment pressure is very feeble.
