Abstract: The current standards on the safety of machine tools are reliable sources for designers who need to know which materials and thicknesses are appropriate for safety guards on a certain type of machine tool. However, due to various possible designs of safety guards, information about requirements on their fixation is only provided for isolated cases. In this publication, a broad series of FE simulations and impact tests has been accomplished in order to provide quantitative values to machine tool guard designers. In addition, a method to validate FE simulation results and to determine their reliability is presented. This allows an integration of FE simulations in the dimensioning process of machine tool guards and significantly reduces required experimental impact tests.

Abstract: There are 220kV super-voltage transmission lines and electrification line above the road-cut excavation blasting project, which is near the buildings, the blasting vibration and fly-rocks shall be strictly controlled, thus the blasting design and construction are difficult. This paper describes the controllable blasting technology design of the road-cut excavation in the complex environment, the blasting parameter selection, the detonating network and the safety technology. Practice has proved that the blasting vibration and individual fly-rock can be controlled by the meticulous design and construction as well as reliable safety technology measures under the condition of no cover when urban road-cut excavation blasting is carried out in the complex environment.

Abstract: In order to study behaviors of underground mine water inrush spreading, the multiple-phase LBM based on finite-volume particles and point-particles applied to create the LBM-Lagrange simulating model of underground water inrush spreading with silt. The simulation result shows that the model can get the visual information of water-sand inrush speed, water-sand pressure and distribution of water-sand phase. Therefore some effective alternatives can be made to control underground mine water inrush.

Abstract: The coal face of blasting mine in underground coal mine is a very complicated system of disaster environment, the spatio temporal limit increases the accident probability of blasting operations. So the safety appraisement method of safety engineering was applied. Through marking the potential tendency of the serious injury and the control level, the serious injury possibility of this operation is analyzed, and the safety technical measures and management measures to improve the safety in the implemention are put forward.
