Abstract: Currently there is a great concern on the part of the industries with the disposal of waste generated in the production process. The quartzite processing industry generates significant amount of residue, consisting primarily of quartz. The aim of this work is to evaluate the incorporation of quartzite residue, replacing partially the quartz and feldspar, in ceramic mass used in the production of sanitary ware. The raw materials were characterized by chemical and particle size analysis. Compositions were formulated by varying the amount of residue and comparing with an industrial mass, consisted of clay, kaolin, feldspar and quartz. The slip casting process was used in the preparation of the specimens. The results showed that the residue can be considered as an alternative raw material for use in sanitary ware industry, since the ceramic slip presented appropriate rheological properties and after firing process the specimens presented physical and mechanical properties according to the specifications.

Abstract: In this research is presented electricity production of sanitary ware, which can be covered kinetic energy of water to electric current from water delivery system. A small electric generator will be set on the water delivery system of sanitariums. It consists with a turbine electric generator and a big tank which build in on tank of a sanitarium. Turbine generator is generated small electric currents by a lot of water inside pipe. If this system were set in a large building for example such as department store, etc. the electric currents would be on generating in order to cumulative energy. In which Bangkok has a population about ten millions of people which sanitariums are used about a hundred millions of time per day. The experimental results of this model can be calculated electric currents to compare with systems which were set on large building.

Abstract: Chemical analysis of household waste from the sanitary ware industry is of fundamental importance in order to detect the presence of AAR (alkali-aggregate reaction), the same in field or laboratory. There are several test methods, these methods can detect pre-reactivity of aggregates compared to the sodium or potassium hydroxide present in hydrated cement paste. For the preparation of both the concrete and the mortar, from the recycled material, the aggregates were reduced until it had texture, close to the river sand and gravel. The analyses stayed in determining the potential of the alkali-aggregate reactivity. Thus the results of chemical and physical characterization of the material, indicated a willingness to be used as aggregate in mortar and concrete, due to the availability of waste, the good properties given and the gains in cost, beyond the environmental management, they promote the viability of the process of recycling of waste. 1

Abstract: Abstract. In order to promote the application of water-saving technology, to use natural resources effectively and to realize the sustainable development of our economy, we should explore and summarize the experience of water-saving for water supply and drainage and meanwhile create conditions for the design and layout of buildings and districts.

Abstract: A procedure that comes being studied for the exploitation of powder waste rejected from the sanitary ware production is the incorporation in mass for red ceramics. Objective of this work is to present the results gotten in the incorporation of this rejects. The used clay was from ceramics industries of the Jundiai region, SP. Spherical bodies test samples had been conformed incorporating 1%, 5%, 10%, 20% and 30% of the powder waste in mass. These bodies had been evaluated on compression resistance after dried to 110°C and to color after burns to 950°C. The composition that presented better results had been conformed by extrusion in prismatic bodies test samples. Again, the dried to 110°C and burnt to 950°C bodies test samples had been evaluated on flexion resistance but to linear retraction too. It was measured the ceramic properties of the burnt bodies test samples. Results indicate that there is a great potential in the formula with 30% incorporation of powder waste in mass. Comparative assays were made being used a mixture without incorporation of the denominated white reject.
