Abstract: Precise control of optical transitions of color centers like silicon vacancies (VSi) in 4H-SiC is essential for their functionalization. An applied electric field (E || c) of a pin-diode can be used to tune the optical properties of VSi centers via the Stark effect, while the associated space charge region under bias suppresses spectral diffusion. Unlike commonly used 4H-SiC c-plane wafers, a-plane wafers allow a scalable fabrication of lateral pin-diodes and resonant laser excitation of the VSi perpendicular to the wafer surface (a ⊥ c). In this work non-circular lateral pin-diodes oriented perpendicular to the wafer flat were produced in a scalable, CMOS-compatible process. Electrical characterization revealed that 97% of the devices on an a-plane wafer with n-type epitaxial layer were functional, exhibiting breakdown voltages exceeding 200 V and reverse currents below 100 pA/µm, enabling low current noise during optical measurements. The diodes remained operational at cryogenic temperatures after frozen-out charge carriers were re-ionized by the applied electric field. Electron irradiation followed by thermal annealing at 600 °C was used to generate V2 silicon vacancies in the intrinsic region without significantly altering the electrical characteristics. Optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) measurements on selected single emitters confirmed the presence of V2 centers by detecting a contrast at 70 MHz, while cryogenic photoluminescence (PL) spectra revealed a zero-phonon line (ZPL) peak at 916 nm.

Abstract: After mainframes, people computers, the internet, mobile communications, and social media, blockchain has been dubbed the sixth disruptive technology. For system decentralization, it is referred to as a distributed peer-to-peer (P2P) database enabler. There is a scalability issue that is a major roadblock to widespread Blockchain adoption. The goal of this study is to overcome the barriers that are preventing this technology from becoming as widely accepted as it was designed to be. This research provides the groundwork for an improved blockchain by identifying the right balance between block size and block interval, switching to a better consensus mechanism like PoS, and indicating sharding.

Abstract: It is a large challenge to enhance Super Peer (SP) capability in the unstructured distributed system. The current study of this issue is still focused on how to choose a single peer as a SP based on some standards. Though the selected peer has the certain ability of tolerating the higher load, it is short of Scalability and reliability when the load increases dramatically. In order to improve the SP in these two areas, a new method, which uses Virtual Super Peer (VSP), is proposed. Based on the load in a cluster, one or several peers are selected as a SP. During running the system, the number of peers is dynamically adjusted as the load change. The experimental results demonstrate the method is effective in enhancing SP’s scalable and reliable performance.

Abstract: Electric vehicles are in direct competition with conventionally powered cars. However, high prices currently result in a moderate acceptance and low market penetration. Producing companies have to attain new competencies in electric vehicle production as well as develop existing competencies at an early stage to be able to create attractive products for the customer. Requirements for costs, quality and scalability can be met due to purpose design, integrated product and process development, modularization of machinery and intense process know-how along with continuous consideration of alternative production processes. Nevertheless, designing new value added networks with a strategic fit among all participants remains to be done.

Abstract: High conductive and polymer composite has good electrical, mechanical and electrochemical properties which is a scalable, multi-functional composite material. It is widely used in electric vehicles, power storage and military fields. This article treats graphene as the working electrode self-supporting film and prepares the structures of the reduction of graphene-polypyrrole-Sulfonated graphene three-layer composite membrane using Polypyrrole electrochemical deposition method. From the electricity microscope, we can observe that the composite film have a closely structure which improves the electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of highly conductive polymer material. Finally, this paper studies the electrical properties of the composite film by the way of electrical experiment. From the experiment, we can conclude that in the voltage driver of 1V, the composite film has a better driving performance which can reach a rate of 198 / s. Its cycle life is up to 8000 times. This provides a new method for preparation and study of graphene conductive polymer composite.

Abstract: There is great significance to deliver as much as possible valid data by making full use of CAN bus network limited bandwidth in the case of fixed baud rate for network. Because the CAN network data transmission efficiency optimization method (SONEC) can improve the efficiency of data transmission network based on CAN bus; by using this method the author studied the bus network scalability, and found that the use of the constructing network method can significantly improve the scalability performance of bus network. A CAN bus example as the research object is used for contrast analysis to prove the analysis validity. The method studied above has the important significance to CAN bus network structure.

Abstract: In P2P networks, malice peers forge identity to interrupt routing, called Sybil attack. To avoid it, methods in related works consider routing as random walk. Since the destination of random walk is hard to predict, Sybil-proof P2P networks need large routing information to support routing. However, a large size routing table constrains the scalability of the system. Therefore, we aim to develop a routing algorithm to satisfy the requirement of P2P networks which has a good performance at Sybil-Proof by using a reasonable size of routing table. Social links are useful to prevent a Sybil attack because friend peers have little chance to be a Sybil peer. In this proposed method, reputation of social link is useful for achieving this objective. Considering the distance to destination peers can help for routing efficiency and considering the reputation can make routing to have better performance resisting Sybil-attacks.

Abstract: The tree trim is an important part of the fruit tree planting and landscape tree management. In this paper, it aimed at domestic plants trimmed work low level of mechanization, labor-intensive and trim efficiency and low status quo, according to the actual working environment of the plant trim work. A Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Scalable Tree Trimmer was designed, its head can do multiple DOF motion ,and its body height can freely telescopic adjustment. It is able to improve the mechanization degree of tree trim work, to reduce the cost of trim work and shorten the time of trim work. It is also could improve working conditions and improve the safety of the tree trim work.

Abstract: Two opposite approaches were proposed to address some scalability problem resulting from coordinated checkpointing's synchronization during failure-free operation: minimizing the number of checkpointing participants and having the checkpointing process non-blocking. However, these previous approaches, oblivious to the underlying network, may not fundamentally provide any breakthrough for ensuring high scalability required in very large-scale P2P-based systems. This paper proposes a non-blocking coordinated checkpointing protocol to significantly reduce checkpointing synchronization overhead by structuring the peer-to-peer network into a set of groups according to a particular criterion. In this protocol, among processes in a group, one is designated as representative with the following special roles, intra-group and inter-group checkpointing coordination. Intra-group checkpointing coordination addresses the checkpointing procedure among processes within a group. On the other hand, inter-group checkpointing coordination is performed only among representatives. Thanks to this beneficial feature, the proposed protocol may considerably reduce the number of checkpointing control messages routed on core networks compared with the existing ones.
