Abstract: Electromagnetic brake system can make the vehicle brake effectively, there were many factors affect the system’s performance, so it was very important to find some method to evaluate the system properly. Firstly, the article introduced the concept, calculation method of the electromagnetic brake and friction brake integrated system evaluation. Through a simple example described extension assessment method in the integrated system selection evaluation, extension assessment method was applied. Finally, during the selection of multi-program evaluation, according to the index weight binding extension assessment method, we got the best selection program.

Abstract: The article presents results of the research focused on suitability assessment of separated dust from formatting and grinding of cement-bonded chipboards to modify their composition. The attention was paid to dust treatment, i.e. milling and sorting. The dust was applied to chipboards in amounts of 5 and 10%. Formulas with water-cement ratio 0.60 and 0.65 were prepared. The influence of sorted dust was subsequently evaluated using setting of selected material properties. In particular the bending strength and tensile strength perpendicular to plate plane were monitored including the influence of frost on these characteristics.

Abstract: Subsea processing equipment’s are deployed in Deepwater / subsea marginal field, fields having challenging reservoir characteristics (which includes: high viscosity, high GVF) in order to economically recover oil and gas. They includes: multiphase booster pump, subsea separation and compression equipment’s. These equipment’s faces a high level of uncertainty as regards well and reservoir conditions, putting the equipment in an unfavorable condition covering a wide and variable range of processes including transient Flow, variable oil flow, fluid pressures, temperature and gas compression effects. More so, knowledge engineers in different areas are assessing this domain in different ways making the performance parameters and relations to be defined differently when utilizing computer based tools for assessment and selection. A four step process is proposed which are: domain knowledge acquisition, failure data analysis, knowledge model and a knowledge base system will reveal the key components and parameters that are needed to make an optimum decision. The applicability of these four step process is demonstrated in the assessment and selection of subsea multiphase booster pumps.

Abstract: The paper presents the works performed by the authors in the field of structural and functional optimization numerically controlled (NC) axes. The study includes two computing applications developed by second author of the paper in a PhD thesis related on NC axes’ structural and functional optimization. The first computing application is used for calculating the total reflected inertia of a linear motion NC axis (total inertial loads' reducing on the driving motor's shaft level). The second computing application is used for both preliminary selection of the driving servomotor (by checking first the accomplishment of the kinematic criterion) and a secondary selection of the electric motor (by checking in a second stage the accomplishment of the static and dynamic criterion). By mean of both software applications optimal matching of servomotor driving system with available NC axis mechanical structure may be determined. The analyzed linear motion NC axis is part of an experimental stand (existing in the MMS department from EMTS faculty), that supplementary to the driving servomotor, includes a belt drive transmission, a ball screw - bearings assembly and a driven element guided by ball rail system.

Abstract: With the market competition aggravating, strategic supplier of manufacturing enterprise is becoming more and more critical for the success of manufacturing enterprise. It plays decisive role in the areas of product quality, date of delivery, service, etc. At present, there are many methods on selection and evaluation of strategic supplier of manufacturing enterprise. But, there lacks of integral system. Through the establishment of outsourcing criteria to supplier classification based on products, this paper builds selection and evaluation standard system of strategic supplier of manufacturing enterprise in order to provide reference to manufacturing enterprise on choosing strategic supplier.

Abstract: The paper expounded theoretically the requirements for choosing the auxiliaries in wine corks bleaching with hydrogen peroxide. Then, the analysis to the imported auxiliary CATALOR was described by chemical and instrumental means. In the end, ammonium bicarbonate was selected as the bleaching auxiliary according to the results both theoretical and experimental analysis, and its application process parameters were proposed.

Abstract: The main aim of the paper lies in providing a proposal of technical system optimization in terms of maximizing its reliability when a certain sum of maintenance costs is given, or minimizing maintenance costs to achieve the defined reliability. The technical system is analyzed using the method called fault tree analysis (FTA) and the final diagram is represented by a tree structure. At the top of the diagram, there is an undesired event which represents the system failure. This top event is analyzed and branched into several other events in order to obtain all possible faults of system elements and their combinations which lead to the system failure. Each primary event contains basic information as minimal and maximal reliability and the corresponding maintenance costs. As a result, it is possible to calculate the total probability of system failure, respectively to its reliability, and the total costs needed to ensure the required system reliability. Genetic algorithms are used and applied in the diagram created by FTA. The paper contains the whole proposal of using a genetic algorithm in order to optimize costs and system reliability on the basis of defined conditions. The described proposal is implemented within a functional application and then tested using real data. The results form an integral part of this paper.

Abstract: Through the correct assembly of various types of Plate Self-Locking Nuts, and their related mechanical properties test, on the premise of that Floating Two Lug Plate Self-Locking Nu, Floating Plate Self-Locking Nut, Cherry Rivetless Self-Locking Nut Plate, and Retainer Rivetless Plate Self-Locking Nut can satisfy the procurement specifications, use the same load levels on above four kinds of Plate Self-Locking Nuts to implement resisting shear connectors fatigue comparison test, and provide the basis for the selection of the Rivetless Plate Self-Locking Nut and its utilization in aircraft fatigue critical region. The results show that with the experimental study of four kinds of plate floating self-locking nut, the overall performance is relatively good to Floating Plate Self-Locking Nut and Retainer Rivetless Plate Self-Locking Nut, both of the two kind of Self-Locking Nuts plate can meet the requirements of the mechanical properties to Plate Self-Locking Nut, and their fatigue performance is greatly improved as opposed to the Floating Two Lug Plate Self-Locking Nut. Since the studied Plate Self-Locking Nuts are already used to aircraft in a larger amount, the study could be applied to various aircraft design and selection of the Plate Self-Locking Nut.

Abstract: Power transmission scheme of a certain 8×8 articulated transport vehicle is introduced and theoretical analysis for autochthonous steering resistance moment is completed.Dynamical modling of wheeled articulated vehicle is built by using the multi-body dynamical simulation software RecurDyn and the curves of resistance moments are measured.After changing position of hinged point and axle base of wheel F、G(B、C),result of measurement is fitted and compared.It is shown that the ideal position of hinged point for steering is s2 where resistance moment is minimum,which provides references for steering cylinder’s selection and design of whole vehicle.
