Abstract: Lu'an is classified as national planning coal-mining areas and is also one of most important coal production region in North of China. On the basis of field investigation and samples analysis results, the assessment of geologic environment of the study areas is carry on by means of AHP. The processes of assessment consist of establishment of evaluation index system, determination of weights of each index and outline of geological environmental zoning. The results of assessment can be served as arguments for regional planning and coal producer to prevent, reduce geo-environmental problems and maintain a sustainable and reasonable exploration of coal resources in this region.

Abstract: Buddhist architecture which was introduced to China from India had become an important component of traditional Chinese architecture, and the characteristics of different regions had formed after the long-term development. This article starts from Shanxi’s location environment, analyzes the considerations of geographical environment of Shanxi temple construction’s site selection and the historical regularity of their distributioncombining with the site selection factors of traditional Chinese architecture. Thus, the general rules of site selection of Shanxi temples and its particularity of distribution are revealed preliminarily from the viewpoint of space and time.

Abstract: At present, industrial structure in the regions of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia is still at energy intensive phrase, with highlighted contradiction between supply and demand of energy, higher carbon emission, lower low-carbon technology, and lacking of integrated planning and coordination in economic development, environmental protection and ecological construction. To realize advantages integration and balanced development under the orientation of low-carbon economy, we should vigorously probe into the market transaction mechanism of regional low-carbon economy, build a micro economy policy and regulation system for low-carbon economy, strive to develop clean energy, and construct a new scientific innovation mechanism with energy conservation and emission reduction.

Abstract: From the ancient times, Shanxi was called the strategic gateway of the national capital. An impregnable defensive system is required to guard Shanxi, therefore, the defense settlement rose in response to the request, shaped as a city surrounded by many successive forts. Beyond the government building forts, there were a lot of civilian communities. According to the form and the size, the defense system could be distinguished as the following: Town City—Road City—Wei City－Suo City－Fort City —Community Fort. It was constructed as this: guarding system (outside) --- transportation system--- building units. The three layers affected and restricted each other.

Abstract: This article researched on wool improvements in Modern Shanxi, compared the qualities of Merino wool, Shanxi wool and three generations of hybrids wool. It made a comprehensive analysis on wool fineness, wool length, crimp contraction, impurity content, grease content, wool color and etc. The results showed that after the three times’ hybridization, the wool qualities had great improvements, the third generation hybrid’s wool qualities were close to the Merino wool. The wool length was 0.023mm, the percent of fine wool was 100%, the crimp contraction in 3cm length was 15~21, the average wool length was 11.2cm, impurity content was 13.9%, grease content was 25.6%.
