Abstract: The Hall automotive wheel speed sensor and have been studied, based on the its signal characteristic, the signal process circuit model that contains limiter circuitlow pass filter and lagging comparator has been established. The corresponding simulations under the Matlab/Simulink show that the working stability and anti-interference of this circuit can meet the demand of speed signal processing.

Abstract: In order to master the safety status of the large port crane and diagnosis and predict the fault in advance for alerting, the condition monitoring and diagnosis & sensing system is used in this paper. By using sorts of sensors and accelerate meters installing on the crane, acquire all kind of signals of the machine, then put the data to the signal processing and diagnosis sensing system, the operation status of the crane can be found out, and the potential fault or failure can be diagnosis and detected in advance. The condition monitoring and diagnosis & sensing sys-tem can acquired the condition status from the large port crane and diagnosis the potential fault or failure for the machine. Thus, the problem how to master the condition of the large crane port crane and provided the safety alerting for the huge machine is solved.

Abstract: Based on aerodynamics, this paper discussed the shock wave traits of ultrasonic bullet and studied the methods to calculate the position coordinate and ballistic trajectory vector in free sound field. Through experiments, the signals of shock wave from firing point and ballistic trajectory were decomposed and reconstructed, making use of wavelets analysis. The characteristic parameters were extracted to position the sound source and orientate the trajectory, based on the sensors array of right tetrahedron.

Abstract: For virtual instrument technologys character of high performance, easy to implement hardware and software integration, etc., virtual instrument technology and Labview are applied to test fields. Using computer and NI PCI-6221 data acquisition card as the hardware and LabVIEW8.5 software as a development platform, a data acquisition and signal processing virtual test system is built. The system is consisted of signal source and the signal processing module, in which the signal source is he FMCW radar level differential frequency signal connected by data acquisition card; signal processing section includes a time-domain measurement signal source, waveform display, filtering, spectral analysis, etc. Connecting, analysis and processing of FMCW radar level meter difference frequency signal are completed.

Abstract: Based on the Kalman filter, A multi-frequency eddy current signal demodulation method is proposed. By directly sampling the analog signal of multi-frequency eddy system, the multi-frequency phase and amplitude information of eddy current will be obtained by the proposed method immediately and synchronously. Contrasting the traditional method, the proposed method does not need hardware demodulation circuits and the circuit structures are also simple. Moreover, the proposed method is more flexible, which may be configured to any frequencies parameters by software way and no longer dependent on specific hardware circuits.

Abstract: The paper proposed a data compression method in multiresolution structure and realized multiresolution rendering of point model by traversing the KD-tree breadth-first. It established the details control of multiresolution rendering, improved the drawing efficiency of point model. And a simulation study was carried out. Results show that the method could not only reduce the geometry data volume of point models directly, but also reduce the sampling point number without debasing the numerical precision of the model geometry data, so as to further reduce data volume of point model. In addition, the mixed rendering of geometric model point and rectangle in this method overcome the shortcoming that point model set is unsuitable for large flat surface.

Abstract: This research is aimed towards developing an algorithm for detecting road roundabout environments and estimating the collision free-path. Laser range finder (LRF) and camera are combined together to detect the mini-roundabout environments that are developed and built in a laboratory setting. The signal processing of the LRF is accomplished in MATLAB environment using the proposed algorithm to determine the road curbs and find the current position of the mobile robot within the environments. The video processing is performed also in MATLAB to identify the roundabout center when it is detected. The experiments are performed using the developed experimental setup and the data are processed in real-time. The results demonstrate the capability of the algorithm to effectively recognize the roundabout environments.

Abstract: This paper briefly introduces the CNC hand wheel and analyzes the working principle of CNC hand wheel. Here make a circuit board based on the hardware design and software implementation. Simulation results were presented in this paper. Using this method can eliminate the interference of the hand wheel signal effectively and record the pulse signal of hand wheel accurately, and have achieved good results in FOXCONN.

Abstract: This paper describes the correlation between fatigue life with the I-kaz coefficients. Fatigue tests were performed according to the ASTM E466-96 standard with a strain gauge attached to the specimen being tested. AISI 1045 carbon steel was used as the material for this test due to its wide applications in the automotive and machinery industry. Fatigue tests were carried out at several constant loading stresses of 610 MPa, 650 MPa and 690 MPa at the sampling frequency of 8 Hz. A set of data acquisition system was used to collect the fatigue strain signals. The integrated Kurtosis-based algorithm for Z-filter (I-kaz) technique had been used to find the I-kaz coefficient. The I-kaz coefficient is found to have a good correlation with fatigue life, other than can represent fatigue damage.

Abstract: The performance of a fuel injector greatly influences the performance of a vehicle engine. An effective monitoring system is capable of detecting damage, instability, and even the life of fuel injector. In this study, a test rig on fuel injector using piezoelectric film sensor has been developed. Three parameters, namely, pulse width at 5, 10, and 15 ms; frequency at 17, 20, and 25 Hz; and pressure at 10, 50, and 70 bar were used for observation. These parameters were set at different combinations to obtain the different injection patterns of the fuel injector. Statistical methods were used to analyze the data, with the aid of the Matlab software. The injection pattern was described using a new I-kaz (Ƶ) statistical parameter, which is intended to provide a simple explanation of the corresponding correlations between the coefficient of I-kaz and the statistical parameters, such as root mean square, Skewness, and Kurtosis, to obtain effective information on the operation state of the fuel injector. The results showed that higher pulse width results in a higher I-kaz coefficient, which also increases with an increase in frequency and varies with pressure; however, the pattern depends on the pulse width. The I-kaz scatter graph against skewness showed a clear pattern among the statistical parameters. The corresponding correlation was useful for monitoring the fuel injector and can be used as a reference for future studies.
