Abstract: With the window rating system being enforced, window companies are required to assign window ratings to their products. As the window ratings is based on the experimental results of fenestration, they are required to spend a lot of time and money conducting laboratory tests in order to assign window ratings to all their products. Through the window performance evaluation system using simulation, the thermal transmittance of products calculated based on numerical simulation can be used in place of experimental results to obtain the window rating. To ensure the credibility of simulation results, it is necessary to use the correct evaluation methods and primary information derived from in use practice should be available for the numerical simulation. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the evaluation methods that the simulator actually uses for the thermal performance of fenestration in WINDOW/THERM. The evaluation methods used by twenty-one simulators were investigated using primary evaluation methods for numerical simulation as the criteria. This study found that most of the simulation results were not trustworthy even though they were similar to experimental results because the evaluation methods used by simulators are incorrect. Furthermore, to enhance the credibility of simulation results, the simulator should be provided with the detailed information used in practice related to the evaluation performance of numerical simulation.

Abstract: Testing and debugging of real equipment is a time consuming task. In particular, in the case of marine robots, it is necessary each time to carry out the transportation and deployment of a robot on the water. Experiments with not yet fully functional prototype of marine robot equipped with expensive hardware is in the meantime very risky. Therefore, the use of simulators is affordable way to accelerate the development of robotic systems from the viewpoint of labor effort and cost of experiments. This paper presents a simulator specifically designed for autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles.

Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology and deeply evolution of air-to-ground combat mode, the combat between air targets and netted radar will be an important component of future warfare. Design and development of netted radar training system is historically inevitable. This paper aims to design and develop networking radar training simulator system. We have studied and designed the system structure and function. With deeply analysis of the key model of the system, the training simulator was implemented by object-oriented technology. This paper mainly introduces the overall design of netted radar training simulator and the simulation method to realize the key models.

Abstract: This paper has introduced a kind of method which can simulate the echo signal of radar receiver by the use of the Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) and Programable Logic Device (PLD).With the realization of actual circuit, the echo simulator can produce intermediate frequency and video signals. Therefore, with the help of the echo simulator, we can raise the detection ability of radar receiver system considerably. The structure of the simulator is simple but its function is great. The echo simulator can simulate intermediate frequency signals of radar receiver system for the first time.So the simulator can locate where isn’t work well of the radar receive system.

Abstract: A hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) training simulator was developed to avoid high cost and realize intuitionistic teaching in the engine maintenance teaching of a certain type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The oil free engine HWIL simulator was achieved by the driver-to-the driven switch. According to the needs of teaching , the function of dynamic real-time control in different working areas was implemented by combining dynamic monitoring of the computer with real-time controlling of the single chip microcomputer. The successful development of the simulator improved the teachers’ teaching ability and cadets’operation ability, cut down the training cost and reduced the teaching risk to zero by indoor training of large weapons and equipment. Keywords: engine, simulator, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, teaching

Abstract: In order to accelerate the development for LNG carrier liquid handling simulator, this paper describes the liquid handling process. Approaches to composition of interactive mathematical models for the system are outlined. The connections between these models are described. In view of the current situation of simulator development, this paper also provides the perspective of the whole model system. As the result of incorporation of these models into the simulator, the system is being developed by model-based design methodology. It is expected through this paper that the development of the simulator can reduce training time and cost because the researchers can understand the overall modeling process from system level.

Abstract: In this paper, we first put forward the simulating function of AIS simulator. We give a brief introduction on how to develop AIS simulator, combined with the simulator interface, the simulate of operating process, the calculating of dangerous target’s parameter and the switching of different display mode. The simulator comprehensively simulated the FA-150 AIS equipment and meet AIS training.

Abstract: The goal of I-V characteristic measurement of photovoltaic (PV) module is to reduce uncertainty not only for PV laboratories but also for manufacturers. This paper presents the results comparison and data analysis between two PV laboratories. Even though both laboratories have obtained the ISO 17025 certificate, the I-V results show inevitable deviation. The cause of deviation depends on photovoltaic scale traceability of laboratory, system bias, internal quality control measures and other uncertainty sources. The analysis also shows that the PV scale traceability is the most important factor to reduce result deviation among laboratories and measurement uncertainty. The various contributions to the result deviation are critically illustrated for different traceability chains. Besides, the calibration method of reference photovoltaic devices (reference cell or module), spatial uniformity of irradiance and I-V data acquisition unit should be paid more attention as well.

Abstract: Six degrees of freedom motion platform is an important part of the flight simulator. To study the dynamic characteristics of the simulator, the paper carried a six degree of freedom motion platform dynamics analysis, and proposed fuzzy PID control strategy, and through the ADAMS software to establish a simulation model of six degrees of freedom motion platform, simulation results show that the use of strategy has good control effect for the simulator is designed to provide some reference.
